I don't really find myself hating the polybag ones too much when you consider that they weren't really designed to be something permanently on display, instead more of a basket stuffer to make for a fun, little build before being ultimately absorbed into the lego bucket at home.
I love the 3-in-1 polybags. That they can get three recognizable models (even if they aren't all the same quality of build) from a polybag's worth of parts is just amazing.
That creepy monkey 3-in-1 set was my first LEGO set ever. Though it doesn't look good, the building system that the set introduced to me was enough to sell me on LEGO as a whole, and I haven't looked back since.
I think the levers on the spider are meant to represent pedipalps which are essentially weird arm things on spiders that help with catching and eating their food
I agree with most of your choices but at 5:04 scorpions like spiders are actually arachnids, having 8 legs (so either it *does* have the right amount of legs and no pincers, or it has pincers *instead of* 8 legs)
Uhh that scorpion doesn't get the "legs" right 😂 The bee that didn't even get released... imma have to look up instructions for it, as I thought it was pretty darn cool! 😅
While the spider polybag is definitely a poor representation of a spider, I do think it's a really good "creature" set. You could drop it into any sci fi build as a monster and it works fine and has plenty of playability.
The scorpion doesn't have the right number of legs. There are still six legs and then the claws. Scorpion claws are modified pedipalps. Also, a scorpion's venom is inversely proportional to the size of the claws, so those claws being extremely tiny means that the scorpion is *extremely* venomous.
Incredible how much some of these remind me of mixels, probably my favorite lego theme growing up for how goofy they looked. I grew up with mostly mixels sets, and they hold a special place in my heart
8:50 There is one thing wrong with this dog: His mouth is a tongue on a lower jaw, and his entire upper jaw is just a round piece, no teeth no form or shape, no anything. Dogs in real life have both upper and lower jaws and teeth in them with the muzzle and nose on top of it. This is such a big fail I'm surprised SpitBrix didn't point that out in the video!
"Oh look, this animal doesnt look as good an detailed as the animal with double the parts they released years later" Also the scorpione doesnt habe the right amount of legs. 2 Pincers + 8 lefs, not 6...
7:27, Fun Fact. Lego added feature to the parrot in that 3 in 1 set. If you put those brown tile studs in its mouth, and lift up the parrot's tail, well... it poops.
Fabuland even had a parrot Figure: fab10c It was literally a Fabuland Figure with a parrot shaped head, colored predominantly green with a yellow beak, and not brick built. This seems like an idea SpitBrix might want to do: Consider going through the LEGO Fabuland theme and see what you can come up with regarding it's designs, including origins or any available design notes or tidbits of information about Fabuland you can put together in a video.
1:51 One of the first Lego sets that I bought with my own money off Rite Aid pharmacy. Sure the small animal builds look odd, but I still had fun building them.
Honestly you forgot my favorite brick builed animal, in the creator downtown pet shop and coffee shop set they' re Is a brick builed dog that look like Brian from family guy
Eight legged spiders are what triggers arachnophobia, the fear of spiders, it’s why in a lot of media spider creatures will usually have 6 legs because it doesn’t trigger anyone’s deep feeling fear
@@serenitynow85 Belated reply, but it's instinct ingrained within us. Spiders are generally the most lethal bugs people will encounter, so over time those with an instinctive fear and revulsion response toward eight-legged things tended to survive. It's the same thing with fear of wriggly things that look like snakes.
I love mid 2000s Creator designer sets. I had the bigger dinosaur one and the bigger animal one. I always wanted the big gray robot and sea creatures sets too. There was a really cool game on the creator website back then that I played a lot.
That dino looks like a robot. Also the design fail for me was also a 4998 Stegosaurus. Why a titular dinosaur has a huge head with even bigger teeth? It just looks wrong.
These vids just get better and better, and a bit random but I think you should do more of those minifigure opening videos, I really loved the Ninjago ones, and I thought maybe try something a bit different like Chima, idk just an idea!👍
mate are you sure that set is supposed to be a spider? With the six legs, lever pieces and bricks in colours spiders don't usually have, I would argue that set is an ant build.
I love LEGO, the sets are almost always very creative and look amazing to show as a collection, sadly they're really expensive so I can only watch and dream.
I have both the Exotic Parrot and Exotic Pink Parrot. I actually just put the Pink one together an hour ago and it's sitting right here beside me. I'm going to take it apart, because I need the feet for a TARDIS MOC. I also got the Adorable Dogs. I don't think they look adorable, though.
I honestly like these weird and goofy brick built animals. They have that old school Lego charm that we rarely see these days.
I got a picture of the new 2023 Lego house inside your exclusive set on my RUclips channel
I agree, I'm not opposed to the brick built creatures for Harry Potter or Star Wars either (if done right)
If it weren't for the Lego Games I wouldn't have known what you're talking about
I don't really find myself hating the polybag ones too much when you consider that they weren't really designed to be something permanently on display, instead more of a basket stuffer to make for a fun, little build before being ultimately absorbed into the lego bucket at home.

Same here man, I always thought that it was supposed to be a monster
Hey I think it was for me too! I remember getting it at the same time my brother got the V wing set
But it just has such a Lego charm, it’s fun and it’s creative, even if it is a bit creepy.
I always prefered to make lizard from creepy monke
The bee in my opinion is really cute, very simplistic, yet easy to identify.
I agrea, bee is based, major L that we never got bee as a proper release
Yeah it was still much better than that spider
The Monkey 3 in 1 is so bad that I love it. It also gives me a lot of Mixels vibes, like if there was a jungle/animal tribe than he would be in it
Monkey gives me fnaf vibes.
I had it lol, lizard variant was the coolest for me monke and bird wouldnt last too long
It’s somehow so nostalgic for me the thumbnail instantly gave me memories
can't believe the "spider" got to production but they cancelled the bee
I would've bought that little thing
That monkey is staring into my soul
😂
Oh yeah
I think the levers on the spider are meant to represent pedipalps which are essentially weird arm things on spiders that help with catching and eating their food
Sorry I will always see then as snail-eyes and they are SO cute
1:10 it almost feels like the bear was meant to look like a cub, but is full sized.
I agree with most of your choices but at 5:04 scorpions like spiders are actually arachnids, having 8 legs (so either it *does* have the right amount of legs and no pincers, or it has pincers *instead of* 8 legs)
He wasn't saying the scorpion was bad
@@jenniferdunstan5065 He didn't but he should have for the same reason he said the spider was bad, an incorrect number of legs.
I think the hinge pieces are supposed to be claws, which means the venom of that scorpion is going to be a doozy.
True every single Lego creator set that has a scorpion. It only has six legs.
Uhh that scorpion doesn't get the "legs" right 😂
The bee that didn't even get released... imma have to look up instructions for it, as I thought it was pretty darn cool! 😅
The scorpion is actually missing a pair of legs. It needs 8 legs and 2 arms.
While the spider polybag is definitely a poor representation of a spider, I do think it's a really good "creature" set. You could drop it into any sci fi build as a monster and it works fine and has plenty of playability.
That last set is Duck Hunt!!! 😂
That's literally the Duck Hunt dog and duck!
#DUCKHUNT yea 😂 duck hunt game video
8:49 LMAO I did not see that interpretation coming at all 😂😂😂
That last dog with the duck made me think:
*D U C K H U N T*
2:12 I think it’s a dunkleosteus
wait a second...... IS THAT A DUCK HUNT REFRENCE?
Yes!
Yea duck hunt game video dog and duck
The scorpion doesn't have the right number of legs. There are still six legs and then the claws. Scorpion claws are modified pedipalps. Also, a scorpion's venom is inversely proportional to the size of the claws, so those claws being extremely tiny means that the scorpion is *extremely* venomous.
Incredible how much some of these remind me of mixels, probably my favorite lego theme growing up for how goofy they looked. I grew up with mostly mixels sets, and they hold a special place in my heart
That monkey 3 in 1 was my favourite, it's so easy to build and unbuild, and make the other ones
Some of the jank ones look better than the "good" ones, but would be more believable as a generic monster instead of a specific animal.
1:59 rejected FNAF character
Huh it actually does. Interesting
GREAT SPITBRIX CREEPY LEGO SETS FAILURE.
"Oh look, this animal doesnt look as good an detailed as the animal with double the parts they released years later"
Also the scorpione doesnt habe the right amount of legs. 2 Pincers + 8 lefs, not 6...
"Spiders have 8 legs"
Bionicle spiders: have ...4 legs.
I have a soft spot for the Creator Monkey, it was one of my first and I loved monkies as a kid. Still have it, will never trade it away.
those old derpy creator animals are some of my favorite sets
7:27, Fun Fact. Lego added feature to the parrot in that 3 in 1 set. If you put those brown tile studs in its mouth, and lift up the parrot's tail, well... it poops.
9:13
Oh hey, it's the Duck Hunt set.
Always a good choice

Imagine being a lego collector, but the only sets you own are parrot sets 😂
Life goals right here.
Poodle?! That is clearly a long-haired dachshund.
I used to have the Rainforest Animals, it's playability was good, you need to put the seeds in the parrot's mouth and it just poop out 😂
6:06 That is the worst way I have ever seen a box been opened.
1:51
One of the first Lego sets that I bought with my own money off Rite Aid pharmacy. Sure the small animal builds look odd, but I still had fun building them.
that treehouse set brings me back to when my friends and i upgraded it by making it hidden in leaves with hinges and a secret entrance
2:58 NO I LOVE THIS LITTLE MAN
Honestly you forgot my favorite brick builed animal, in the creator downtown pet shop and coffee shop set they' re Is a brick builed dog that look like Brian from family guy
The giraffe is pretty funny. I'd never buy such a set but if I got it for free I'd display it, it's very goofy.
Even if most of them don’t look good, they are still part of the wonderful Lego history, that’s just how Lego learns from its mistakes !
I want castles, trucks, and houses from Lego.
Castoes, trucks, houses.
Ya know... the stuff Lego was made for.
geoffrey the girrafe looks like he lost a roshambo
Are we all forgetting about the 2023 April Fools set: “The Majestic Horse,” that ended up being some kind of corgi?
2:20 that happens when you bring your fire type pokemon to the news
This comment made me laugh enjoy this like!
1:36
**clears throat**
THAT'S A DOG
Eight legged spiders are what triggers arachnophobia, the fear of spiders, it’s why in a lot of media spider creatures will usually have 6 legs because it doesn’t trigger anyone’s deep feeling fear
So people stop to count bugs legs to know if they should be scare or not
@@serenitynow85 Belated reply, but it's instinct ingrained within us. Spiders are generally the most lethal bugs people will encounter, so over time those with an instinctive fear and revulsion response toward eight-legged things tended to survive. I genuinely thought that kangaroo was a ground squirrel
the dog and the duck is fun cause neat reference to duck hunt which is very cool
Dude i love the gorilla! Had that guy, such a classic
Im surprised you didn't mention the other (better?) Geoffrey set, where a large, creepy Geoffrey figure is sitting with a couple of kids.
"not a good design"
How dare you, it's got a cool strong robotic look to it that I dig :
I love mid 2000s Creator designer sets. I had the bigger dinosaur one and the bigger animal one. I always wanted the big gray robot and sea creatures sets too. There was a really cool game on the creator website back then that I played a lot.
The dogs are so cute!
3:18 I thought that was a weird crab till you said it was a spider omg
The reason why the bear bear was brick built was because it was a Lego Creator 3 and 1 and they don't use very many molded pieces if at all
That monkey isn't terrible if you think of it as the basis for a FNAF style haunted animatronic - it's an amazing build for that purpose!
How the hell did that bee not make it to market but that nightmare, fuel, sleep, paralysis, demon, giraffe get released
I like all of these, some are sold at a price point and look a little simple but making more with less is the fun of Lego
Lmao, whats bad about the bee? It looks good.
the frog and exotic frog are actually awesome looking.
Kinda surprised that you didn’t mention the brick built T-Rex from the Jurassic Park T-Rex escape set
Set 31044 Park animals is also a great hommage to NES video game Duck hunt.
Love your videos
He liked my comment
the background music is sooo good
The scorpion has only 6 legs, with the front pair of appendages being pedipalps (I scorpions there modified into grasping claws).
That dino looks like a robot.
Also the design fail for me was also a 4998 Stegosaurus. Why a titular dinosaur has a huge head with even bigger teeth? It just looks wrong.
Bro that spider really be a derpy ant.
7:00 wow
nah long neck dino goes hard
The monkey looks like he boutta commit bite of 87
These vids just get better and better, and a bit random but I think you should do more of those minifigure opening videos, I really loved the Ninjago ones, and I thought maybe try something a bit different like Chima, idk just an idea!👍
Omg i just unlocked a memory. I remember having that monkey build when I was young. I liked it though
Spitbrix I found a Ninjago leak in Lego brawls if you go on to the dragons rising theme there’s this strange character called “orb temple spirit”
I love the orangutan on the swinging pole set personally
The recent fusion between Sonic and Eggman Lego set looks so messed up.
The monkey and giraffe are the most cursed
Creator sets tend to use brick built animals because being able to build other things out of them is kind of the whole point of the line
mate are you sure that set is supposed to be a spider?
With the six legs, lever pieces and bricks in colours spiders don't usually have, I would argue that set is an ant build.
i used to have that 2007 monkey set as a kid and i loved it
9:14 Duck Hunt?
Yes! I thought about mentioning its resemblance, but I wasn't sure how many people would understand the reference.
I thought the same thing
2:18 I remember living the monkey! ...Guess I was weird...
1:52 why does this thing look like a robot posessed by a child's soul that got stuffed into it after getting murdered?
Yep welcome to the nightmare fuel. Also that duck and dog Creator set is a clear reference to Duck Hunt
Nah, the scorpion does not have the right number of legs lol
8 legs, and 2 pedipals (pincers) would be the accurate amount
I kinda like the bee, tbh.
You missed a Panda. There is creator Panda set. I have it! You can also make a Penguin and a Orca!
Bro I thought that was an Armadillo or an ant Eater💀 4:02
Your video are great
Thanks!
That last one reminded me of Duck Hunt.
Yea 9:16 Duck hunt game video #duckhunt
I love LEGO, the sets are almost always very creative and look amazing to show as a collection, sadly they're really expensive so I can only watch and dream.
i had that finale lego parrot set the exotic parrot and it found a way to get the parrot off the stick but i can't remember how to do it
There is also a recolor of the exotic parrot set
I have both the Exotic Parrot and Exotic Pink Parrot. I actually just put the Pink one together an hour ago and it's sitting right here beside me. I'm going to take it apart, because I need the feet for a TARDIS MOC.
I also got the Adorable Dogs. I don't think they look adorable, though.
5:18 oh thats a beaver?
Good video, although not your best. But nice channel and good content!
The *beary* first lego bear we ever got was-
DesmondCONTEXT: *hol' up* 👁👄👁
The scorpion is wrong. They are decopods (meaning ten feet). He should have 8 legs PLUS the two pincer claws.
ur number 1 fan! ❤
I'm glad you enjoy my videos 😁
0:51 TURTLE BEAR
