28 year mechanic here. I own the 2007 Rendevous. Use the Lucas stop slip stop leak formula and you will see the difference. My concern with yours is no transmission filter. You just installed one but without the filter you may need to do the job 2 or 3 times to filter out nasty sludge. The magnet was full of metal which is proof there is meta and sludge floating around. One more fluid and filter change after you add in the Lucas should bring in amazing improvement and it did in my 2007 Buick Rendevous. Also great job.
Like the video but what year was that But what year was that Buick rendezvous ? And you were saying something like it used to be a all-wheel drive? Now it's a 2 wheel drive, or is it a 1:06 2 wheel drive? And you converted to a all-wheel drive which one?
Yeah I’m having problems with mine 07 tranny. First gear is ok. Second gear is a hard shift and third gear feels like a mild slip. I just wondering if it’s electrical or mechanical problem.
I changed my filter and it's still leaking a lil. Even after I used the Lucas transmission fix on it. Still have a small leak coming from the transmission pan.
I have a 2006 rendezvous, my transmission totally stops pulling after it warms up. Sometimes I can only go a few hundred yards and it totally stops pulling
I have the same car. Is that all there is to it? Drain fluid, clean off parts, insert new filter, replace new gasket with sealant and replace pan! That’s great bc I’m about to do this to mine.
Yep that just about somes it up. But most gaskets dont require sealant and there is actually torque specs an sequence for the bolts when installing the pan. But I usually just tighten the bolts staggered so the pan will be straight.
@@GrimeTimeWithKenny I got the fluid and put it in after drainIng and filter change and the vehicle runs and pulls but seems sluggish still and makes some noise like it was but not as bad. I only drove around my neighborhood. Does it need to sit and idle through gears? How many quarts does it take? I put in four.
Hello! I have the same car. It was parked for a while and when I got it I got a transmission flush. When I am driving and push the gas too fast it will kinda slip for a little bit and then shift. Other times it just shifts normally. What do you recommend? Or should I rebuilt ?
I got the fluid in it and went to test drive it and noticed a leak. Turns out I broke the inlet for the return line on the power steering pump. And now we got snow so I haven't messed with it for couple days.
Help! My ‘07 Buick rendezvous acts like it’s in neutral when I’m in drive! I get RPMs but no power to wheels. I can manually drive it with the 1,2&3 gears but I can’t drive in the Drive gear. My fluid is black and brown, would a fluid change fix it?
That sounds like to me something electrical like the controller or solenoids internally. Reason I say that is you can manually shift it and works meaning it's not the clutches or anything. Honestly I'm not much of a transmission guy but that's my opinion.

The filter is supposed to be press fit in the pickup tube, use a rubber mallet to get it in.

It was a 2002 with awd and I converted it to fwd
I've messed with lots of t45e Buick Chevy trans mom's the time it's shift solenoids

Are you tightening in an X pattern? Do you still have the factory reusable transmission pan gasket?

@@GrimeTimeWithKenny cool. I Really like how you do your videos too btw. Very helpful:)
Is there a certain fluid that needs to go in this vehicle?

Definitely needs more. I cant remember exactly how many thinking it was around 8 quarts. Shift it through all the gears and check it idoling in park.

Does it do it in all gears or just a certain 1? Sounds like could use a rebuild.
Shift solenoids
How did this turn out any updates ?

Okay, who made that music?
I have it in the description. Thanks for watching.
I have a 2005 Buick Rendezvous CX 3.4 that leaks transmission fluid 😡
Do you have the factory transmission pan gasket?
