Gerrard and Gazza are definitely the two most naturally gifted English players of the past 40 years who both didn’t win as much as they could’ve. Both legends.
Stevie G is 100% right when he says none of the rangers team are in the same league as Gazza great to see him looking well and great for rangers to remind him he is loved and all welcome at ibrox
It was humbling to hear S.Gerrard say that. I'm not having a dig here, but Gerrard gave joy to a City. But Gasgoine gave joy to an entire country. Memories of Italy 90 and that semi finial I'll take to the grave. Keep well Paul and stay off the booze now, you'd have your fair share. Good luck with Gerrard up there as well - AFC fan.
Stevie G was including himself in that statement. And he would be correct. GAZZA is up there with George Best, Pele, Maradona, ZZ, Messi, Cruyff. To name a few.
Means a lot coming from the other side of the Irish Sea. Despite his well documented difficulties the guy is a very caring individual. I know that obviously with having played at Rangers he wasn't everybody's favourite but there are some things that are much more important than football and it's good to see warmth and respect from both sides. Thanks a million and take good care of yourselves and stay safe.👏👍🤝
I’m a celtic fan, this came up in my videos to watch. I pressed play and watched with a smile on my face. The guy is impossible to not like, an absolute genius of a footballer. We will never see the likes of him again in Scotland. Broke our hearts a few times as well hahahaha 👍
