    You are going to love the Bridgestone Blizzacks! I had to buy them back in ‘03 to put on my 03’ G35 sport coupe because after the first snow in northern Illinois the Michelin Pilot sports that came stock were basically like skis. The blizzacks provided crazy amount of grip in 6” of fresh snow. They’re pretty good on ice too. But with you living in Michigan, I’m probably preaching to the choir. I now live in southern Mississippi on the gulf coast so the stock performance tires will be great all year.

    Nice recap B and teaser for the new winter wheel/tire setup. We’re pretty much identical in cosmetic mod list (minus the logos). Can’t wait to see your performance additions, lower motor mount done but since it’s waiting on a tranny replacement now, my boomba short shifter plans on hold. Ugh.

      Great vid as always entense!! Yea I’m still on the fence if I want the ppf. Right now I reserved to get a few layers of ceramic coat, kind where it takes 4 days. My N is due in 2 weeks. This place doesn’t do ppf. But I’m wondering if I should. The ceramic coat is mostly for cosmetic I’ve been told. But Ive also heard ppf can discolor over time and bubble. Plus it a lot more expensive. Ceramic coat is $1100. I’m hoping the ceramic provides some sort of protection. But nowhere near as good as ppf for chip protection.

      Hyundai paint has already been junk imo. I had a 2014 Genesis coupe and it had some faded spots from the factory and about 3ish years down the road I was powerwashing it and the Clearcoat on the front bumper literally blew off. Terrible quality. My 95 bronco still looks fresh as all heck in comparison.

    Spot on! Love the content. I purchased those emblems after watching your video....putting them on tomorrow. Need a heat gun and some fishing line. Those stock emblems are on really tight. The seats!! I love them but sometimes find them a bit too much. I'm jealous sometimes of the auusie market with those heated/cooled seats and rear vents. They get hot! But still love the seats :-). Next mod for me is the mud flaps, brake light and some 18s for winter here in Philly. Ill be sure to referenceyour videos when i go to install. Really enjoy the content.

    100% agree on your likes and dislikes. I have a love-hate relationship with the front seats lol. Anything under 30 minutes I love them, anything over 30 I start hating them. While they do their job perfectly to hold you in place, trying to move around in them to stretch or take pressure off my outer thighs from the bolsters is challenging. Still such a great car though!

    Dude, great video but this car is so different in Australia!
    1. The seats are not the same, completely different - very comfortable and fully ventilated with air and heated functions.
    2. The rear passenger seat has a pocket and there is air vents in the rear centre console!
    It's insane how slightly different this vehicle is from your perspective.

    I think the paint chipping issue unfortunately happens to all new Hyundais and Kia’s. I’ve owned my K5 GT in wolf grey for about a month and the paint although it looks gorgeous it’s water based (from what I was told) and thin as hell so just normal highway driving I find more and more chips as time goes on.

    • @ENtense

    I almost pulled the trigger on this beast. It's just too uncomfortable for me. I'm a skinnier guy but I enjoy long drives and road trips. Ended up going with Sonata Limited. Was going to go N Line sonata but no LSD didn't seem worth getting 290 hp if I can't put it down.

But after my first few weeks Daily driving the car I find Them to be to narrow in the upper back/shoulders I’m not a large dude I’m 5,9 180lbs. Paint chipping is a problem with all the cars and trucks I own. Maybe slightly worse with the "N" but I blame the roads and truck traffic more than the paint. Just take a look at your windshield.
    I'm about 6 1/2 months and 7k miles and I couldn't agree more. This car is a blast to drive. I have fun wherever I go and sometimes I just drive for the hell of it. Like Hyundai's "N" logo says...
    "Never Just Drive".

    • @ENtense
      @ENtense  2 года назад

      I have a couple chips in the windshield as well, but it’s just such a common problem for EN owners with all these rock chips. Just unfortunate that the paint will be chipping away more and more as time goes on.

    until there is a dyno out pre learning and post learning I don’t think anybody can confidently say there’s a major difference in power. it’s all anecdotal butt dynos so far.

    • @ENtense
      @ENtense  2 года назад

      I guess my questions to Hyundai are; Why is it even in the manual? Why do the boost and torque numbers increase? What’s the point? Lol. Just seems silly to even have that programmed into the car if it doesn’t make a difference. The manual also clearly states if you use 87 gas that you may have decreased power. I’m a firm believer it makes a difference, but as you said already we won’t know without the actual dyno numbers. And NOT from someone who is tuned.

    What do you think of the Kia K5 GT? Is nearly the same price if not 37k fully loaded with cooled seats, 360 camera, addaptive cruise and better interior and is just as fast and I feel looks a little better if not the same overall

    • @ENtense
      @ENtense  2 года назад +1

      K5 GT is a great option as well. It was on my list of cars before I decided to get the EN. The K5 GT struggles to put the power down with the 2.5T, and it’s a bit on the larger side. Perhaps more tech, but I personally like the interior of the EN better, a bit smaller of a vehicle and better in the performance category.

    Do Hyundai dealers have a fix for the seat belt recall yet? I have a 2021 Elantra Limited in the same intense blue color that you have. I like it very much especially the driver centric instrument cluster and the horizontal light bar at rear of the car when viewed at twilight.
