Thank you Alvin for these great PMP videos! I passed my PMP exam today!! AT/AT/AT!!! I know for certain if it was not for your videos and 5-day kit I would not have passed. The mindset is everything!!! Thank you! Thank you!!!
@Jamila Lake, that is AMAZING!! CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the PMP Club! (: I'm so glad that I was able to help you in your journey, feel free to share my videos and content to anyone else you know who may also be taking the PMP Exam
You are dead correct. My first attempt was brutal. I scored AT on people and below on processes and business. They slammed me on agile and scrum! Not pleased with the amount of wasted time and money for studying but definitely I'm happy to know where I was deficient. Wish me luck!
I failed twice already, and I'm retaking it on 8/15 First attempt: PEOPLE - Needs Improvement BUSINESS - AT PROCESS - T Second attempt: PEOPLE - BT BUSINESS - T PROCESS - T I'm studying like crazy right now.
Hi Alvin, I normally dont write comments, but thanks to your videos and course, I was able to pass my exam in my second attempt!! My first attempt I didnt do good because I didnt have all the techniques I learnt with you and I had spent sooo much time memorizing theory. I definatelly recommend to everyone your videos and techniques, so you invest your time the right way and pass your PMP exam!
Thank you Jaziel that truly means a lot! So glad I was able to help you on your journey to pass your PMP Exam!! A HUGE Congrats on achieving this milestone and becoming PMP Certified!! Time to celebrate 🥳🎉
@Shaquille Rivera, congratulations on passing your CAPM Exam!! Really glad to have helped you out on your journey. Feel free to share my videos and content with anyone else you know who may also be taking the CAPM Exam
What main resource of study should be using for exam in 2023? Is it pmbok 6 or 7. I heard in pmbok 7 there aren't 49 processes but they are included in the exam? I don't like to study from multiple books because it confuses me and is overwhelming. What book should I use to prepare myself?
@Baba ze wsi, I personally had both PMBOK 6th and 7th Editions as reference material when I was studying for my PMP Exams. You don't need to "read' through both books cover to cover, but instead, use them as a reference aid anytime you encounter topics you're not familiar with. Check out my site here for the full list of resources I recommend to pass the PMP Exam: www.alvinthepm.com/pmp-resources/
Mr. Alvin: Questions here: 1. Is PMP exam - 2022 still based on ITTO Questions like input, tools and techniques and outputs? (as PMP exam still based on PMBOK-6) 2. Is PMP exam - 2022 still based on mathematical / numerical questions i.e. Cost Management, Critical Path Method, PERT etc.? (as PMP exam still based on PMBOK-6) Please advise!
Dear Alvin, thank you for your helpful video. But what if I study the waterfall next to the agile as I have no experience in agile? Solomon B. from Ethiopia, East Africa.
That's completely okay, I've known many others as well who have taken the PMP Exam, but only have experience in Waterfall but not Agile. I recommend you check out the following videos to gain a better understanding of Agile, and how best to prepare for it on the PMP Exam: 1. Master Agile the Easy Way: ruclips.net/video/2mkf9zKa4JU/видео.html 2. Agile Manifesto: ruclips.net/video/uvrQjT8Hng4/видео.html 3. How to Pass the PMP Exam: ruclips.net/video/1u1L_tfgIq4/видео.html And, lastly, I also cover the Agile Basics in my Free PMP Bootcamp Course. @DJ Chris Diesel, I would say that the simulators are a great way to test and apply your knowledge to situational-based questions. They help you assess any gaps in your knowledge, and how you can improve your test taking ability. Hope that helps! If you can score at least 70% on simulators, you'll be in a really great spot to take your PMP Exam.
I am just starting the PMP exam preparation journey and I am subscribed to your channel now. Can you tell me the difference between simulators and mock exams?
Simulators and Mock Exams are typically the same, as they both contain questions to test your knowledge and ability to solve questions in the same format that you may see on the actual PMP Exam. Hope this helps clarify!
