Yeah for air dribble to resets it works a whole lot better when you go with the ball other than trying to get the reset behind the ball. It’s almost like predicting where the ball is gonna be and letting it land on your car to get the reset. Kinda weird but it works so much better

@@christiantaylor1495 I hit it for the first time in about 15 mins ago in 1.7k hours. my advice would be don't work on the really fancy stuff, good passing and 50s, well placed flicks and shots was what got me there
Hay i really need some help, im learning the single reset and i really need to know if it is better to break before hitting the ball off the wall or not not from start i mean in the longterm and whats more effective
I got a serious question so on your video in 2021 I think where it sayssteer right doesn’t show that for me it shows like drive or drive backwards and goes jump boost power slide focus on ball doesn’t show like the other key binds you have
I see a lot of people saying that it's easier to get the reset after the air dribble, while that is true, I think it's also much easier to defend against. So if you're actually going to implement flip resets into your games, I think it's worth learning how to flip reset then air dribble so you make your plays much more unpredictable.
It's easier to just not do a flip reset at all. Suddenly everybody is focused on what's easier rather than what's harder to defend.

For “higher” ranked people wanting decent advice for flip resets: flip cancel when you flip into the ball (unless you’re going for a musty obviously). The difference in the “pop” you get should be immediately visible.
yeah this is bs. cancelling your flip is useful for double flip resets and recoveries. the ball doesnt pop differently. the game doesnt know u cancelled your flip when you touch the ball. this is the same flawed logic of people saying "noflips give you more power on your shots" which is just not true.
I cancle flip on almost every shot already lmaoo
@@frasuxh8030 nah u can 100% get more of a scoop by cancelling it, or even continue an air dribble after by cancelling it perfectly and keeping ur nose on the ball

also you can defo get more power doing this also…. cancelling your flip could mean you hit bang in the centre of the ball, generating more power dude what rank are you lmao

Can you do a tutorial for ground to airdribbles. I can’t seem to figure out the first touch that gets u in the airdribble
Have the ball on your hood and then try fast aerialing. If that doesnt work try double tapping your jump but make sure you hold down the first jump for like half a second like you would with a fast aerial.
There is no magical first touch. I've played this over 3000 hours and trust me the magical first touch is BS designed to stop newer players from progressing. Just ask yourself how you want to move the ball through the air. You might want to change plan mid air. If they jump high or go on the backboard, you might want to actually take the ball back to the ground and catch it, or just land first and powrshoot. It's not a robotic systematic procedure.
There's a custom training pack for it. Grind that out.

Pro tip: when he goes for the flip reset first, to start air dribble you need to tornado spin to keep you’r nose up, to make it easier.
Well it depends on positioning. Sometimes going for it while reverse tornado spinning can help you get the reset in a heli position. By heli I mean your car going horizontally.
