Here's an interesting idea I had. To make an electronic-style song, using only acoustic instruments. It has now been done, and I'm quite satisfied with how it came out. Hope you enjoy it!
I'd like to extend my thanks to RainSnowHail for giving me some tips on mixing this song. Helped it turn out nicely.

I don't care about an upvote or whatever, but I just wanted to share with you how I'm thankful that you made this song.
Most artists or musicians in this fandom don't realize how much their creativity influences those around them, or impresses on others to do more. I used to be a Brony artist who got slightly popular, but I've fallen out of doing it because my art just choked itself to death. I also have a friend who has faced the same thing. Today, he told me that he was going to throw all of his save/root files of his artwork away forever and start over completely again because he couldn't face the weight of it all on his shoulders. The quality of his art felt like something he couldn't live up to anymore. I argued with him to not do this, as it would be like throwing parts of himself away forever. Finally, after hours of trying, I finally got him to reconsider.
All while listening to this song.
The lyrics you wrote feels almost like it's singing about the difficulties and hardships we've both shared in our art within this fandom. I can't tell you how many times I've felt like what I did was insignificant, and that it didn't matter. How I'd love to take back the time I wasted worrying about everything, and use it to make more art for people to share in. I can't.
But today, when I was listening to this song and helping a friend of my own, I found myself drawing again like I did when I first joined this fandom. You don't know what that means to me.
To borrow your lyrics at the risk of sounding cliched and corny, "what are the odds that I would find myself where I began?"
Maybe I'm just embarrassing myself, but I wanted to share. Thank you so much.
It's amazing to hear that my music has reignited a passion of yours. Usually I hear that it made someone cry, or maybe it made them smile, but this is awesome. Good luck with your artistic ambitions! I hope you and your friend can continue to make art like you used to. :)

This really reminds me of the same concept in Robert Frost's The Path Less Travelled " Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." and of course all lines before hand. He speaks of sighing as he reached the end, which could be taken one of three ways. He is dissapointed with his choice, he liked the choice and the sigh was one of content, or perhaps it was an ironic sigh, as he saw that the other path lead straight to the same ppace, his choice had made no difference whatsoever, as the aomost notable sarcasm would have betrayed in the final lone

This is an amazing song, but I honestly prefer to remember it not by the song titles, but by 'It's About Time', because that as a title could of had several meanings alone.
The only reason I didn't call it "It's About Time" is because that's the name of the MLP episode it was based on.

The upbeat guitar riffs feel out of place with this song’s context of anxiety and uncertainty. But it’s funny and I actually like it’s melody!

(Warning rant, that may have some points, more the second paragraph being more of the rant, had a point tho)
Regret is such a powerful thing... if only we could modify or change how we spent or wasted our time, our lives. We only have one, (if you believe in reincarnation, its the only one we remember) and yet we waste it, we ALL do. But is it wasting time, just to vibe with some sick rhymes, or beautiful music? I don't think so, it extends beyond our eyes, it's in our minds. But waiting for something, especially if you don't know what it is, could be wasted time, or be worth the wait... it's not like it's always a easy choice.
We also blind ourselves, many today are rude or similar because their 'view' or PoV is centered on specifically Themselves, more than people should be, as they are absorbed into their own world, not thinking of others, or simply don't care when seeing people suffering, (not literal suffering, more metaphor for people in obvious need of help, but others see them and leave/ignore them, etc). It's like many people have stopped being kind, and while it's understandable from certain angles of thought, or people having a day, and not wanting to interact or others. But it's noticeably different, at least to me. And even then, you see this in people as they grow up. People change, that's a fact, but as we grow from kids, you can even see those around you over years, or if your lucky longer for their kindness or generosity to fade. But while our society, as it is, does have flaws I don't think they are the only reasons for this. If only people could, not specially have empathy or something, but more... perspective, see THE WORLD ITSELF, and YOU. Not just what you see when you open your eyes, not JUST the people around you, THEY are not 'just people' they are individuals with their own LIVES, yes some people are pricks. But can't we just SEE THIS, and CHOOSE, "nah, KINDNESS to those who either need it, or are nice." and be cruel yet in a kind way (like disguise your malicious compliance, with a kind exterior or something) to those NOT deserving your KINDNESS... just realized I went on a rant in the comments while listening to this on loop... huh... well if this still looks good to me later I'll leave it here
Definitely not a critique on the rant thing, it's very true. But sometimes people close themselves off because of getting repeatedly hurt when they do care. The act of caring and not being able to help is really draining. So the easiest solution to not getting their heart ripped to shreds constantly is to distance themself from caring. Sometimes a heart gets overwhelmed by everyone else's emotions.
Not necessarily the right answer, but something I've felt and seen a lot.

You’ll be fine. I watched this when it came out, I was 13. I was scared about going into high school then. I’m 19 now, graduated a little more than a year ago, everything’s been pretty hectic in the world recently but you’ll be okay.
I was also 16 around the time you made your comment too. We're 20 now (at least I am, dunno if ur 19 or 20 at the time of me making this reply). I was feeling the same thing that u did back then, that same fear. But now, We're both grown ups doing adult stuff and working. From boys to Men/girls to Women (idk ur gender). At least we got bittersweet memories of the time we were fans of MLP and the fandoms music that can take us back in time to those simpler days like a time machine. We just gotta keep moving, keep your head up.

Well, I consider electric guitar an acoustic instrument, but only because it's one that you play by hand. I used an electric guitar there, lol.
4everfreebrony You know that's a bit like calling a french horn a "woodwind" because you play it with your mouth? There's a reason "acoustic guitars" are called that. Calling an electric guitar an acoustic instrument makes you sound rather silly and confused. ;)
Honestly, I was really hoping you were going to completely blow my mind and say something like, "Oh yeah, if you play a flute, a tamborine and an oboe at the same time over a silver chalice in the light of a new moon, it sounds *just* like an electric guitar!"
Pedantry and snark aside though, I really do love this song. You're an excellent musician, regardless of any misuse of musical terms.
HalflingPony I don't think it's misuse. Electronic music is, in my mind, synthesized, and is typically created via keyboard and mouse, or a midi keyboard. Synthesizers do just that; they synthesize sound, and to so typically via the ADSR or ADSHR parameters. I think his point was that he used no synthesizers to create a track that has a very heavy synth sound.
