That silver interior was a rare option for SS very few u got something special there man try n save as much of it as u can loving the build I got a 62 2 door ht can't wait for more videos 👍👍👍
Wow, that is a sweet ride. I can’t wait to get one I live in Utah and there is plenty out here. I need to save up a little bit. Hopefully I can get me one in the next year to Greg car man I can’t wait to see what it looks like when you’re finished.
I was watching pt.10 and has to cut that off and start from pt.1 haha beautiful base you have. I’m also a welder by trade for 7 years and also have a 1964 impala SS I’m working on. Going with a 4 pump system. It’s my first hopper. I already have the body off the frame and currently doing the full floor pan with braces. Along for the process!! Congrats on the car
The crack you have on top of the quarter were the sail panel ends… it’s because of the body mount sagging… the back one and the ones at this position. Something to think about when putting the floor in. You will need to lift it back up… the giveaway is we’re the banana bar bolt to the frame… the floor shouldn’t be touching… your must be touching…
Awesome car. 64 has always been my favorite, I have a SS now and I had 2- 64s when I was 17 years old back in 1974. That’s when I got in to low riders , it was less money back than to have a low rider then a Muscle car, for me anyway. All you had to do is lower the car add some wheels and tires.
Honestly I searched high and low for about 1 year and got lucky and found this one on marketplace. I passed up in two other ones to get this one. They are out there. Try expanding your search area a little if you can do some traveling. Best of luck 👊🏻
Yeah that would work. But honestly, I don’t mind the 14’s. They are still traditional. And!… These are 1 of 250 25th anniversary edition Daytons. They are selling for $6-$8,000 right now. It would ruin them to change them now.
Because it’s not up to my standard. Plus my free time can be very limited on account of my work schedule. I wanna do the best I can do. And cutting corners will sacrifice that goal.
Thats a solid 64! A good base to start on! 👌🏼

You can send those wheels back to Dayton wire wheels, and they can turn those into 13x7🦉

Not if you them back to Dayton wire wheels, call and do the research 😉🦉

Are you going to make a low rider or just stock
Lay & play lowrider. Nothing to crazy.

I wouldn't change nothing on this impala. I would leave it just like that. Original.
