I believe scalp tension has something to do with hairloss and these exercises are a great way of improving scalp flexibility and looseness.

    If the goal is circulation to the scalp, I recommend DANCING. It's literally my cardio workout every single day for 2 hours. It's very enjoyable for me since I truly love dancing (thus reducing stress), and it also benefits not just your hair but your overall body. My hair fall was reduced significantly over time and my hair got even stronger strands. I guess that's the reason why you barely see professional dancers balding.
    P.S.: Don't just do a cheap basic club dancing, I mean DANCE to it like you're literally in Millenium Dance Complex type of dance. Hard hitting hair flips also help. You enjoy the process while getting the overall health benefits.

    I’m glad you put together the scalp massage/ blood flow techniques together. The Tom Haggerty stuff is good, but not easy, plus it wrinkles the forehead. So nice you share your thoughts on additions. There is a point of stimulus where hair can grow & filling the scalp with blood certainly makes sense. The gravity theory to MPB also makes sense. I didn’t know how to articulate it before.

    Great stuff. A UK politician wrote a book in the 90s about inversion to treat hair loss. Not sure if it’s still in print. I’ve had a transplant at 55 as I was Norwood 6, I’m pleased with result although not dense it’s a huge improvement. I delayed the decision for many years. In a way I’m glad because I don’t think I’ll suffer from further hair loss at this stage. Not sure these techniques would have saved my hair back then. I’ll do the exercises to help nourish the transplanted hair though. Good video, Thanks!

    It feels like blood is gushing through the superficial temporal artery (STA) when I do the upside down technique.
    It feels good but when I was a kid my parents said that’s really dangerous to do and I’ve been scared to do it ever since.
    If I knew what this method of pushing as you breathe out (which causes that huge flow through the STA) then I can look into it and get a better understanding of what this is.

I got rid of anger towards others and think that it is difficult to change people. I changed myself. For examlpe I started talking less with my subordinates. This made them respect me and obey me more, relieving the stress I had. I forgave everybody. I did not sweat the small stuff. This is MY experince ! (And my hair stopped falling !)

    I don't really want to discourage anyone to try what you are pointing out in your video, but I thought I would also speak my mind about "natural ways" to beat hairloss.
    I'm also a sufferer of MPB and to tell you the truth, I've also tried almost every kind of way to stop my hairfall. I really started noticing it 1 or so year ago, when I was washing my hair. At the beginning I thought that it would stop on its own, especially since my father is in his late 50s and has head full of hair; the same case with my brother who is in his early 30s (I'm 23).
    When I noticed my hair getting even worse, I started doing exercises very similar to what you are recommending in your video. To be more precise, I started doing head-stands using the same method as you, I was massaging my head with fingers and with wooden brush and I even tried rubbing onion mixed with garlic into my scalp. I eliminated diary and added some healthy nuts, vegetables and fruits to my diet. I started drinking 3,5 l of water per day. I was doing this regimen for close to 4 months and I didn't see the benefits at all (or even if I did they were too insignificant to even point them out). Right now, I am 3 weeks into finasteride.
    To be honest, I don't believe that the lack of bloodflow is the sole reason that people are losing their hair. If it would be so - everyone would be affected in the long run and it would surely happen to all the people at the same moment in their life. Why is it that some people start losing their hair when they are still teenagers, and some people have full head of hair in they 60s? I also think that MPB is not really connected to your diet and exercise regimen, because sometimes I can see homeless people that have more hair than I have.
    In the end it is still your own choice what you want to do, but to me, there's no "natural way" to really fight hairloss. If you want to try - it's your own choice and maybe you'll be 1 out of 10000 people that will succeed, but you need to keep in mind that if you are serious about this fight - the more time you lose on "natural remedies", the more hair you lose.

    • @thickontop
      @thickontop  4 года назад +18

      Hi, I completely understand where you are coming from. Beating hair loss can be difficult and sometimes it is confusing why some people keep their hair or lose it. When I say blood flow is key, I am speaking more like an archway. You have your keystone, which is the most important stone, however without the other stones the arch is not complete. A healthy diet, keeping stress levels low, having a positive mindset (I'm a big believer in that), sleeping well, and just over all taking care of yourself all play a role in your hair health and overall health. I have successfully stopped my hair loss. I am so grateful for that. If you want, keep following me to see what else I post. I know there isn't a silver bullet to anything. My hopes are that I can help as many people as possible so they don't have to suffer and panic like I did. Thank you for your honest feedback.

      I agree with you Lucas. I started noticing hairloss at age 27. It started as a receding hairline and then overall shedding at 28.5. I tried all the natural remedies I could find, hanging upside down, Nizoral shampoo, RU58841, and eventually minoxidil. Nothing was really working for me as I continued to shed and could see my scalp. At age 30 I said screw it and hopped on finasteride. Within a month I saw results in the form of baby hairs growing in around the hairline. I am now four months in and the results are amazing. I wish I had started sooner, but at least I didn't go longer then three years fighting noticeable hairloss.

    • @3500camarz
      @3500camarz 4 года назад +3

      @Drom Assault Yes I am one of the few that experienced sexual side effects such as low libido. Some have had great experiences half dosing finasteride with minimal side effects, but I take the full 1mg dose for best results. I got a prescription from my doc for ED in order to counteract the sexual side effects of finasteride. As for taking the pill, yes if you stop taking the pill you will lose the hair you grew back. Keep in mind that finasteride doesn't reverse hairloss for everyone, but luckily it did for me. I'm 4.5 months in and they say you get full results around the 2 year mark. That is because hair growth is slow and takes time to go through all its growth phases, shed, and start over again and become thicker and thicker. You won't lose all the hair you got on finasteride right away when you stop, it will take a few months as the DHT builds back up in the system. If you're okay with going bald then don't worry about taking finasteride. But if you care then the longer you wait, the more hair follicles that will continue to die off and not be recoverable. Even hair transplants require that you take medication such as finasteride so you don't keep losing your original scalp hair which are the dht sensitive follicles. So if a transplant is your plan then think twice. Goodluck whatever you choose.

    You said every 3 or 4 days when you wash your hair. Do you only shampoo and conditioner every 3-4 days? Do you just rinse with water on other days? Also what if you workout everyday. What do you recommend. Thanks so much

    Whens the video coming out about your nutrient diet. I got my own supplements and im curious if we got some of the same ones. Great video btw, this is the only way to really combat hairloss but too bad people dont realize it just because it requires more effort than a consuming 1 finasteride pill.

    So, what natural supplements are you taking? I'm debating on Nutrafol. Any thoughts?

    If the blood flow idea is correct why does transplanted hair thrive as it does ? And why does "not every man and woman" have the hair on top lost dramatically on top, as both experience the same gravity burden ? Give us an answer!

      Richard Silverberg fibrosis and calcification happens more in men and our scalp is more androgenic

    • @MrrrrMime
      @MrrrrMime 2 года назад

      because none of this rubbish works and there's a scientific understanding of androgenic hair loss and it's not because of a lack of blood flow lol
