Just finished making the chicken phone rest and also made your lovely wallet. You are such a good teacher Debbie, a real pleasure to follow and so tidy axis you work. Love most of your ideas, keep them coming.! Thank you.
Overly idea and a good multigenerational gift. Thanks for the inspiration. I like to reuse pre lived textiles and this is very doable from shirts, skirts or even trousers or jumpers. Nice simple design. Thank you again.
I made several of these and gave them for bunco prizes Tuesday night. My friends thought they were really cute and clever. Told them they were from your video. It came in the nic of time for me to make prizes that were unique. Thank you so much
I'm loving this idea. I'm going a bit mad for the church Spring Fete. They'll look great with the bucket style peg bags, aprons, shopping bags, my biscuit pin cushions etc. Thank you for sharing these ideas xxx
Thank you Debbie! I just made one of these following your tutorial and it took me about an hour of fun - my husband now wants one too! I didn't have felt so I used fleece and I didn't have enough wadding so I used some fleece scraps as stuffing for the main body of the chicken.
So sweet! I think I have several friends who would enjoy one of these! Even my 1-year old grandson received a play cellphone for his birthday... Trying to figure out how to make one of these for him. He is still teething so I need to find a filler that wouldn't be a problem if he chewed it open...
I am going to make this chicken phone holder for my mom because she was born in a chicken year and 2017 is a chicken year;) BTW, I made a chicken bag for my mom from one of your video before the Chinese New Year. Thank you for such great ideas!
will be making one of these. So cute and practical. Would love to make one for the ipad, so should I double the size of this one? Would that about do it? thanks Debbie for all your wonderful projects.
I have watched this several times and I love it. I collect all things "chicken" so I know I have to make one for me but I do have a question, how could this be made into an owl or a cat? I have a daughter who loves cats and a daughter-in-law who loves owls and these would make great Christmas gifts. Thanks for your video's!
An owl may be difficult as it would need a flat face, little felt ears hand sewn on could work for a cat, then add some whiskers and a tail! Great idea for Christmas presents!
I enjoyed watching the video, but there wasn't a subtitle section even on my RUclips settings are on auto subtitles. none automatically came on. which I check and there isnt any. I followed the video and watch what u did 😊 x
Debbie Shore the video now has subtitles 😊 I don't know how or what happened but they are there now. I can enjoy the video more with what u are saying. Thank u for yr tutorial 's I enjoyed making em 😊 x
Hi Debbie watch all your videos and also every time your on to. I've seen you use a portable mini ironing mat, could you let me know the make or where you got it from please - I've trawled the web but can't find it. Many thanks. Theresa x

Love watching your videos! Do you happen to have a video showing how to do each of the important hand sewing stitches?
Not at the moment I'm afraid, another for the list!
Awesome! Thanks, Debbie! Merry Christmas!🎄🎁
You too Shea!
I sew over pins all the time (using my 1952 Singer 15-91). Only rarely do I bend a needle.
Oh so cute. Don't suppose you could tell us more about the beautiful lavender cushion that you have displayed in the background . Please
Well spotted! That's actually from a book I'm working on at the moment, publishing next year.

Love it, what did you use as weight?
I used a little bag of grit, a pebble would be fine, or a bag of sand or rice...

What did you use for weight? Rice? Into a plastic bag?? Couldn't see exactly.
Rice in a bag, sand in a bag or a pebble, anything with a bit of weight will do!
Lindo...bem Criativa, infelismente não entendo o idioma......

POR FAVOR PODRÍA TEADUCIR LO AL ESPAÑOL? GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR. BENDICIONES
If you said 6 inches of a circle to get the wings. Then how many inches of a circle for the big chicken on the another video you made. Thank you.
Try 6" for that one too, it doesn't matter if the wings are larger or smaller, they look good any size!
Tut Secret I
