You can just keep running for another 15 minutes after your 45 min run is “over.” As long as you don’t stop your watch from recording, it’ll keep recording. It just won’t give you alerts via your watch that you’re going to hard/not hard enough.

I don't understand planking as a supplemental training. During running I never never have isometric contraction of core musles. Functional and plyometrical training is key for strong and efficient running with hip lock and short GCT.

Planking is a core exercise and increasing core strength is a great way to help stabilize your running form.

yeah. we don't run like robots to train to stabilize. our bodies rotate while running
