Half a decade of these sillay dragons in the desert, and probably longer with how things are looking.
Genuinely, without this story and the people who helped me make it I wouldn’t have been half as creative, been able to explore as many characters or plots, and wouldn’t have had something so motivating to fall back on throughout the years.
The old animatic was posted 3 years ago in February and it is DISGYUSTING but it was one of the few that I ever managed to “finish”. You’ll find in the description I say it’s a WIP, so here it is fully done, finally.
(There was actually another remake between then and now but it’s not up as far as I can see so shhh)
Wings of Fire and its species belong to Tui T. Sutherland. Citrus belongs to Georgia/Seba_omo (linked above). Changed Ways was initiated by me but it wouldn’t have been possible without everyone else who contributed.

Edit: in order of appearance at the beginning the characters are:
Citrus (Sandwing/Icewing)
Fallensun (Nightwing)
Hiddenflame (Nightwing)
That Rainwing Citrus murdered never had a canon name but we’ve been calling him Oculus since maybe 2021

Idk if this was intentional but I love how the colors change a bit making the night/sand (I think) look more like a sandwing to citrus and then darker to look more like a nightwing
