The funny thing is Odysseus could technically be all three depending on which part of his life you're talking about.
The soldier fighting in Troy
The poet using his wit to defeat his foes
The Ruler who returns home after the odyssey.
Given that the song is originally about the second coming of Jesus (who also fits all three) it's definitely to find to see one person fit all three images. I think a lot of epic heroes fit all three to be honest, like Gilgamesh or Odysseus or Aeneas or Beowulf.
a hero of the epics is a well rounded being indeed it seems x3 one must have the wit to use their strength, the strength to carry out their will, and the wit to know what that will should be. fitting.

Well the Trojans and Odysseus' side were in war for 10 year and Odysseus' side was clearly loosing, bcs they couldn't get in Troy (Troy is the city were the trojans live) then, Odysseus got an idea to get in: a giant wooden horse. They built it and some soldiers (including Odysseus) hid in it. At night they put it in front of the city and the Trojans thought it was a gift from the gods, and took it inside the city. Then, the next night, while all the trojans were sleeping, the soldiers in the horse let the other soldiers in by opening the gates and killed all the Trojans. Conclusion: the Trojans all died bcs of Odysseus. (🤓)

this is so cute and it fits them so well. love their walk cycles and how it fits them. Polites is a chill motherfucker, Eurylochus always has his sword out, Ody is calm but he has his sword on him at all times in case. I also love their individual scenes that show the kind of people they are!

I dunno if it’s intentional, but I like how when it’s just Polites and Eurylochus, they’re stepping completely independently, but when Odysseus is there, all three of them are stepping in sync.
