I grew up in Circleville. My mom loved the York Steakhouse at Eastland Mall in Columbus. Great food at great prices. Much better quality than Ponderosa. I'm so glad your a Buckeye fan. Your family is beautiful. Please try to visit the Circleville Pumpkin Show in October. It's Ohio's oldest and largest festival. Last year's pumpkin weighed 2,238 lbs. The kids would love all the rides and you and your wife would love trying the pumpkin burgers, pumpkin chili, pumpkin donuts, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin waffles and pumpkin pancakes.
Used to go there once a month as a kid at my local mall. Glad to live in Columbus that I can still go to it. Hopefully the new owners won't change too much.
I am from Maryland and we had several York Steakhouses here in the 80's. It was a regular Friday night event in my family. Mom and Dad would load us up into the station wagon and we would head to the York Steak House near us. My 2 faves were the glazed chicken and at that time they had Prime rib tips ..Dad always got ribeye and Mama usually got fish almondine. Afterward it was a movie or a walk around the mall. I miss York. It was friendly, family ,good prices, and good food. You guys are lucky to still have one in Ohio...Thanks for the video..

Beautiful eyes Jennifer . York Steak House is a fav from way back in Ohio. Many visits to the Columbus location. Recently returned once we heard it was for sell to have one last experience if the new owner changed it up. I am hearing it will remain the same. Not high in but love the 70s vibe.

The food there looked pretty decent and pretty good….id go there…not bad for the price….everyone seemed to enjoy what they had….even Gentry and Henry got there eats on…id say its not the ritz but its not bad at all…reminds me of the old sizzlers restaurants…family style…not bad❤
My grandmother used to take us to the Reading PA location in the mid 1990s. All I would order was the honey glazed chicken. I can still taste it. Was amazing
All that food looks really good!!! I love steak!! Ribeyes are my favorite!!! I had a steak at Aubrey's down Tennessee & it was good at first but then got dry & there was hardly any seasoning so I had to put salt on it. I didn't eat all of it. I think the restaurant I really enjoyed was The Local Goat!!! My boneless pork chop was AMAZING!!! I can't wait to go back to Tennessee

Unbelievable! The quality, prices, quantity of food- is not found anywhere anymore! I sure hope someone takes it over and Keeps it going. If i were close, I’d sure go there! Id of had to take some boxes home. That’s a lot Of food. One of the best looking salad bars I’ve seen in a while. Wish I could find a good Old fashioned salad bar! The kids have such good appetites and enjoy their eating out experiences. Nice to see such a sweet family on all your outings and family time.

Our local mall in NE Ohio had a York Steakhouse in it. I ate there a couple of times and it was always good. We just missed you by a day or two at the OSU campus. We were there today. My boys and I are Alumni. Alway enjoy visiting campus.
I loved going to this place in the late 70s I thought it was so cool going down the cafeteria style with a tray and how you get to the end and your steak was ready😂.... the location I used to go to was in Methuen Massachusetts at the Methuen Mall

I'm planning on going to the Outlet Mall in Columbus I'm DEFINETLY going to make it a point to visit this York Steak House !!!!

I am also very picky with my cole slaw I don't like it when it tastes sour or dry. It has to be cream and a bit sweet. O on February the 6th me and my friend Katrina is taking our friend Traci for her birthday up at York steakhouse
went there like 6 months ago and it was one of the worst places i have ever been to the food was gross and they Nickle and dime u for every thing i would never tell anyone to go here nope never how is this place going to charge 15 bucks for a chop steak and not even give u onion and mushrooms or gravy unless u pay extra for it and the mushroom grave was just disgusting in my book now i get why the people r trying to sell it
When we went, the food was good (commensurate to the pricing) and the place was very clean. They are also trying to sell the restaurant, so this may attribute to why it was so clean, but we have no other experiences here to base it on. We're sorry that you had a bad experience here.

Columbus had so many great restaurants. My daughter and son in law live there now and are finishing up Med School at OSU.
