    • @varun3253
      @varun3253 5 years ago +17

      @lianasoares8052 Hes basically saying the character has a huge ego because even when he is ordered around, he tells himself and mia that he is being ordered around only because he doesn't mind it. Which is to say, if he didn't wanna do something the band leader asked him to do, he wouldn't do it. This attitude comes from a sense of superiority he feels from being a jazz musician and the others in the band not being as technically trained as he is. He is able to talk like this only because he has a huge ego. Good day!

      @varun3253, sorry but that just went over your head. I appreciate your effort but don’t stress out over explaining something to someone like me who has Aspergers (a cognitive learning disability on the spectrum of Autism).

    Emma 's funny dancing wasn't even in script she just did spontaneously.

      Josh Evans Yup, in one interview, the script just describes Mia as "astonishing" in this scene, so Emma had to improvise.

      Something that isnt in the script doesn't mean that's improvised by the actor, these type of things are mostly directing changes, the director can add or cut lines, movements or even complete scenes and characters from the script

      Then in the next scene she pops out of the cake and dances at the party while Don watches and teases her.
