What elrs whoop is the easiest to get flying? Meaning easiest to hook up to the computer and bind to a Geprc Tiny Radio? Do you have any recommendations?
All of them are very similar when it comes to bind. I like to bind them by adding the passphrase in betaflight. That way I don't need to get my radio on. It's just a command line on betaflight and the next time I boot, everything should be bound.
I agree, but somehow Jumper had the ELRS problems and they kind of disappeared from the FPV market. They’ve been very quiet for a while and they haven’t had too much success lately, which makes me wonder if the future of the company.
I have the Jumper T-lite with Betafpv module and never a single issue. Is actually my favourite transmitter even more so than the expensive box style transmitters
Hi, nice video.! I have a question.. Since that video date... did you used LiteRadio 3 Pro more flights with c2500 and ELRS modulo. Did you have any problem with it.? Would you recommend it to me? on that configuration or just go for the ELRS option.
I really wanted to have this radio for the review, but it's impossible to find. It also looks a bit cheap on the plastic, but I have not have it my hands yet to really create an opinion.
I have sone really old drones (2017 and older) and some toy drones like the XK-X450 Aviator and i kinda wanna use all those and the parts from them going forward (Budget is Limited and i live tricopters with dual tiltrotor design). What do i need to start actually having fun with my drones again? I Love Flying but the x450 isnt stable enough for filming and the other drones are pretty much just Parts-Carriers. I was kinda thinking of getting the Zorro ELRS Starter kit but i have no ida about all those new protocols and stuff, i still use those 3-Pin PPM Servo cables. Should i buy a Flight Controller and just build something new or could i for example pair the new remote with the XK ready to fly stuff? can i still use my old ESC#s with PPM connectors or should i go with a stack that includes the esc's. there is so much info out there about all those Protocols and controllers but i can't find any basic Information on what you actually need nowadays. Allso i want to build a drone with the "SpeedyBee F405 V3 BLS 50A 30x30 FC&ESC Stack" will that stack work with the Zorro ELRS Starter kit or does that stack only support other recievers? I kinda can't find any information about what fits what with those new components... Thanks in advance, Love your Videos.
Hi Johannes, In all honesty, you are talking about parts that I don't even know myself, so they should be really old. My first instinct tells me that is better for you to start from scratch with some newer parts. Support, spares, etc. will be much easier with newer parts.
Question!! Please! I am a huge noob to the FPV space. I’m looking for a game pad style radio for sim and eventually flying. The betafpv lite 3 pro and the Zorro (4n1 or elrs or elrs starter set?) are top contenders. Which one would you recommend for a complete noob?? Budget is infinite…I just don’t want to handicap myself in the future because of a controller’s compatibility or limitations. Thanks!!
How difficult is it to update the ELRS version on the GEPRC tinyradio? I'm new to ELRS and am curious if the download is from GEPRC or from ELRS directly.
Hi!, You do it through the ELRS configurator. It's actually very easy. The same way you do it with an external module. You chose certain parameters, you chose your target model, and click a couple of buttons. The only thing to take into consideration is that right now GEPRC don't have a specific GEPRC target, and you need to use DYI, but they will be releasing a proper GEPRC target soon.
Thank you for the information, I'm complitly new at the hobby, I haven't purchase a fpv drone but I hesitating between zorro, and tango 2, and betaflight lightradio 3 pro. Budget is not a consern but I see that I do not need that much functionality (why so menu switches is you just need arm and desarm) why do I need 15 hors of batteries on my remote controller when the satandar time of flight is 5 min?
Hola Jose Luis, You need more than just Arm/Disarm, even for the most simple cases. You will like to have a beeper, and very important, a pre-arm switch. More optional are mode, turtle mode, and GPS rescue. All that is good to have. Radios are made for flexible cases. About the battery: The drone flies 5 min PER battery, but you normally don't fly only a battery. When people go out flying they take 10 batteries, or maybe 5 and a field charger, so you spend an hour or so flying. It's not very worth it to go out to the field, to fly only 5 min. If money is not a concern, and you are going to standardise in crossfire, Tango2 is the best options. But if you are even considering ELRS, the TX16S, or the Zorro are very good options. The literadio is on the budget side of the radios, and I wouldn't buy it over the Zorro or Tango, if it's no t because you are money constraint
@@NordFPV I understand you have a drone store, do you have a website? I would like to make a purchase of a tango 2 v3 and a nazgul5 evoke., 3 lipo batteries 1300 and a charger k2 , set of propellers and a fire box for safety
well the zorro is not better than the betafpv pro radio as i have both and the zorro died months ago an the betafpv pro is still working perfect the zorro is garbage and a waste of money
@@NordFPV the Zorro keep on losing all storage data and after two months back and forth with radio master and them telling me it’s just a bad sad card which it was not after replacing it eight times with new ones the controller set on fire when I was using it . Parts are very cheap on this radio and not installed very good but my beta Fpv pro is working through the winter here in Canada and all last summer using it every day and it works great the only thing I find is that the gimbals are not the best but they are above average

The Jumper T-lite is hard to beat. Definitely one that should be in a budget transmitter line up

Hi Hector. It all depends on what drones you have. I’m barely using FrSky drones and c2500 is becoming useless for me. I’m ELRS almost all the time.
Great comparison, hope you check out the iFlight Commando 8 too!

Which of all those gamepad style radios has the largest gimbals / biggest throw, at least close to fullsize gimbals like the tx16s has? Tango 2/Mambo?
They all have kind of the same size. I would say the zorro may be the one closest to a “regular “ size

Hi Glenn, thanks for watching. I will chose the Zorro without a question. If budget is not a main variable take the Zorro.
