While I still use my Taranis plus for all of my aircraft that use SBUS and Crossfire , my new radio I aquired from work is the Radio Master TX16S (FIVE33 version) this radio was being thrown out because we no longer use them and it needed a new main board inside. I replaced the main board for $80.00 and upgraded the gimbals with the AG01's and use this strickly for my ELRS builds. I LOVE IT ! definetly my #1 choice aswell .
Thank u . This review made my mind up. The Radiomaster tx16s Luminier was in my cart not anymore its on the way to my address. With the two Radiomaster s I'm good 👍 for years to come.
I just got my new Boxer in recently and have really been liking it so far. I upgraded from my old X-Lite, which has been solid for me over the past 3 years. The boxer seems like it should be able to hold up well with quality construction and lots of upgrading potential.

Boxer with AG01 it's just Super! I use a 3500mha GNB LiHV of my Old Taranis QX7S and they works really good. I have the CC2500 with external Namimno Oled ELRS 2.4ghz and i just Love it!

I'm trying to get back into the hobby. I have the underground fpv Nirvana which was cool 5 years ago but it's hard to get working as of now. I appreciate the info since I'll probably be getting a new radio.

Nice coverage of a bunch of great radios Justin. I appreciate your attention to detail and comparisons of the various features of each radio. I had the TX16S Mk2 for a short while but found it too large and I have large hands. Currently flying the Zorro, and really like it, but hate having to use an external battery especially when using my 1W external ELRS module, I’m lucky to get 30 minutes out of it. I pre-ordered the Boxer back in December, still waiting for it, I am thinking it will be the sweet spot between the portability of the Zorro and the form factor of the TX16S + 1W internal for the long range stuff!!!!

Yeah the tx16s if we are talking about most features for what you pay yeah tx16s is top so much aftermarket support too really the only thing I don't like about the tx16s is size maybe I'll try out the zorro next 🤷🏻♂️ good video format was good 👍🏻

I am using a FrSky X18s with an elrs module on all my quads and I love it to death.
Imo the design and the build quality is miles better then anything you have on that table.
Ethos as an operating system is so much more intuitive then OpenTX or EdgetX and I'm very glad I didn't listen to all the Frsky-haters in the drone-community.
Shape and size of zorro seems the best!

Hi Justin, I hope you can help me, I got an RC airplane for Christmas, I need to buy a Transmitter, Im thinking of the SPEKTRUM NX 10SE but before buying it I want to make sure I can use it also for FPVs. I am not sure if Spektrum transmitters can be used for drones as well. Any recomendations?

New pilots have it so good as far as radios and pricing.. I remember paying like 4-500$ on dx9 10 years ago. Now you can get a tx12 with a 4and 1, and a nano elrs module for like $100.. amazing

Lr3 (not a pro, but one that goes with cetus x) goes with native sw with hardcoded elrs 2.x. and no ability update via elrs configurator.

I had know idea that the sticks on these radiomasters were so short until I got my hands on a Boxer. These stick are unusabley short for me why has know one mentioned this? Does anyone have any recommendation on some longer sticks?
I prefer as simple a radio as possible…they have way too many switches and knobs for FPV. Something like that Batafpv is fine. 🤙🏼

I am looking at the order page for the boxer, I am being asked to choose a version, and a region. What should I choose?
Alright so if you are new to fpv this is the part where you get to choose what radio link you want to use when you fly. The CC2500 version is for frisky drones this mostly applies to if u already have some sort of frisky drone the 4in1 is best for if you want to use something like ELRS later with an external module but still want frsky capabilities and lastly the ELRS which I recommend most when getting into the hobby has a built in ELRS only module but you can use external ones on it. Lastly for the regions LBT is if your within the European Union as for FCC it’s for anywhere else outside of the EU

IMO Radio master Tx12 mark 2 is better than zorro. Also not sure they have updated the Tx16s internal module to 1w if not Boxer seems better.

Not really it just didn’t make the list. But the boxer is pretty much a reborn version of the TX12.
