His official wins before losing to Kevin Nash was 138 - 0. I have done the research and went back thru every nitro, thunder, ppv, clash and dark matches.
The big thing about his streak is he was only 158 and 0 in televised matches befor losing to nash but he was 5 and 1 in dark matches also most of he streak where beating the same people like the giant, steve micheals, perry saturn, brad armstrong and yugi nagata, jerry flynn and scott hall and curt henning. Over 70 matches between just those 7 people
Wrestling bios has the actual number cause wrestling bios has a weekly show called reliving the war and it kept track of Goldbergs streak when he debuted to when he had his first defeat
158 wins. As per reliving the war/ Wrestling Bios. And as he actually watched all the televised ones and multi sourced the house shows, it is probably the most accurate out there. Episode 165 of Reliving The War for final tally and explenation.
Raven and Scott Hall took the best spears and its nice to see Chris using Raven in this clip. Raven took 2 that match and they were amazing! Looked insane.

It wasn't as far off as people believed.. Everyone just looks at TV matches and says it's impossible to be that high. But they gave him house show wins as well.
Back in the day me and my boys taped all the wcw shows and we had him around 47-0 not counting house shows. I have no idea if thats close to right as this was 30 years ago lol
The FIRST time I saw “William Goldberg” 😂 at a house show- he beat Ernest “the cat” Miller and idk if there was even a streak yet.. this was in like ‘96/97
As far as actual matches logged go, not counting his first like 5 matches which were all dark matches(one of which he actually lost for whatever reason) Goldberg's official record is 154 wins, no losses and 3 no contests/draws during the streak, you're welcome If you do want to count the dark matches from before his official TV debut then his record before his Kevin Nash loss is 158-1-3
I love Goldberg but WCW didn't get serious about the 'streak' until about the 40's. Long-time fans know those early matches were against total bums... the Brooklyn Brawler, Billy Kidman (which you may say was good), etc. They paired Goldberg with wrestlers in low weight classes for the purpose of beefing the stats.
