Making a Christmas Tree Shelf // DIY Home Decor // Woodworking

As we get ready for Christmas at the White Lab Workshop, here's a home decor project I put together. I'll show you how I built a nice little Christmas tree shelf to pull out for the holiday season. This shelf utilizes mortise and tenon joints to attach the shelves and glued butt joints for everything else. It's a fairly easy project that can help set the mood for Christmas!
Materials and tools used:
1x4s for the tree
1x4 and 1x6 chunks for the shelves
1x2 for the trunk
3/4 inch square dowels for the feet
Dewalt sliding miter saw
Craftsman table saw
Craftsman drill press
Wood glue

Awesome video. I started staining my cut pieces of wood before putting projects together, although it takes longer, just to avoid gaps like that. Turned out great anyways!
