if you just want to disable the Motor Cut Off while braking but want to keep your brake light it is enough to pin out the Green/Yellow cable from one of the Controller Connectors. This is also the solution if you installed an aftermarked brakelight and your Motor doesent spin aslong as your aftermarket Brakelight is connected.

I'm really enjoying mine it's a great bit of kit perfect for the terrain around here and its stealth presence let's me go places I can't with loud engine. Not as far as I'm aware. I think the regen is from engine braking when you roll of throttle. These sensors only cut engine power. I don't know this kinda stuff it's just what I assume. I never even thought about that. So don't quote me. I wish I could answer more positively sorry

U can actually progam the bike to disable the ebrake. Lunacycle has a video how to do it.

2020 update.... this can be programed search information on how to use the brake levers for programming and can turn off safety....

More than likely the brake sensor mate, when braking there is a sudden delay for a mille second but noticable. Removing sensor should do the trick

I presume if you remove the brake sensors it will also shut off the regen braking?
Nope it still works as normal just can't change it without brake sensor connected
MOTO MACHINEZ UK ahh right, so adjust your brake regen to how you want it (none in my case) then remove your sensors.

If you just unplug the connectors and leave the wires there you won't have empty holes in your brake caliper.
