Segway x260 you can do this via the app -- however even off they were causing throttle issues for me when the cable got stretched. So followed this and removed exactly the same way and i'm good to go! Thanks for the video!
So if I wanted to remove the light .. just unplug the light wire and remove as well ? .. just got my surron... watching videos before I assemble it.. no rush cuz I'm riding a different ebike at the moment
I loaded it up with Dielectric grease put electrical tape and it's still good. Probably can just wrap with tape and use heat shrink tubing. Thanks for watching and commenting.
My friend just smashed this front brake to mush and ripped the wire you are removing out. The throttle will not work now. someone told me the brake sensor wire if ripped out will not complete a circuiut thus making the throttle not work? I dont know if this is right or not? I hope if I remove this wire the throttle will work. My poor friend broke his calour bone on my garage door.
Hi Marcus, I couldn't find the link to that exact one again but this one is similar. amzn.to/3MUlOuj just make sure it fits your handle bars. These are light duty. Up to you what you would like. Some protection is better than none. This is the link to the Heavy Duty Hand Guards that are currently on my bike amzn.to/3qy5d8j they stick out a bit I like it but others may not. I have the 2020 X and the dongle sequence would not work for me. I then pulled both brake sensors as you did but still cannot do a burnout, the motor doesn't cut off completely when holding the brake and throttle but there seems like something is still restricting the tire from spinning, any suggestions? Oh and my right side sensor wire was a tough son of a gun trying to get it out and ended up stripping and snapping in half, seemed like it was welded inside or something, now dont have the screw bolt to stick back in..will have to plug it with something. Hopefully my Sur Ron still loves me. Lol. Thanks and take care
Sounds like your putting your weight on the bike when your trying to burnout. You have to just stand above it and hold the front brake and twist the throttle and it'll spin. it doesn't have enough power to spin with your weight on it.
Hi Derek, if I recall I put some dielectric grease in the hole. You can also use silicone and knock it out if you ever need to use it again. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thats cool. I think I will just disconnect the plugs and leave the wiring as is. My first order is more power. I just got this thing last night and the power is okay at best. Decent top speed at 49mph but the take off speed is no bueno. BArely is strong enough to lift the tire off the ground.
@@MuddyDrivewayProductions Its very weird cause i tried to put them back in and the bike still did not want to work but i leave the bike for abt 20 min and come back and all of the sudden it works!!!! I have no clue what happened, im just glad i got it working again. Thx for the help man! :)
You're not supposed to do it like that. You remove them from the wiringing inside the bike, brake sensors getting accidently pulled out is the biggest cause of people bikes not working when they are delivered. Also if you have the X controler you don't need to remove anything you just need to use the harness that came with everything, {That's the battery pack wire with the LED on it} and .....oh look it up yourself.
Sorry Brandon, this was one of the first ones to get the license. When the E bikes got popular they stopped giving them out and said that 750Watts and up is too powerful. This is what they told me when I tried to register the bike in my name. The C and C is asking for the sticker back. I purchased a bunch of stuff like the Super Moto tires Ect.. to start riding this to work but it's not going to happen. Need to get the ones with pedals like the Super 73 I think. Sorry to disappoint.

Great video. What do you use to waterproof/fill the brake sensor connector after removing it? Puddy? Or just electric tape? Another connector?

just get a bolt same size . good video
heyt bud. What did you use to plug the hole in the brake lever screw. So you screw it back in but theres still a hole where the wire use to be.

Some say that you can still use these sensors to activate a brake light.. Would to bind a video showing how to do that.
I have never tried that. I would also like to see that video.
If I ever figure it out I will make a video.

My Sur Ron will sometimes jolt forward when I come to a stop, when my hand isn't even on the throttle. Any advice?
That's very weird. Sounds like you have an electronic throttle.
I changed mines to cable for better feed back.

I run a 60 tooth sprocket for the trails. Good low end but lost some high end.
I disconnected them and for some reason the bike won’t work now, the light and display work although the motor won’t spin
That is very odd.
Did you try to plug them back in to see if the bike will work?
Did you cycle the key from off to on?
