Beautiful soaps! You are very creative, and I can tell it's all being passed down to your daughter. You're a great mom. As a baker, I see where you seem to run out of liquid and can't finish filling a mold sometimes. A spatula/scraper would take care of that for you. I'm looking forward to other videos from you.
Hello I have a question, how do you keep your melted soap base in a liquid state?Whenever I left mine for about a minute, film would start forming and messing up my batch..
M&P soap sets pretty fast, if it starts to skin you can just stir it up, if it starts to go thick and unpourable you can put it back in the microwave but caution not to overheat as you'll lose your fragrance oil or boil the soap which ruins it
I see the curl mold soap isn't as shiny as the other mold. I like the matte look better. What type of material is the curl mold? The shin of the molds affects the look of the soap, correct?
I've been enjoying your videos. I'm new to soap making and I'm learning a lot. From what I've read at some websites, Kaolin Clay should be either mixed with a small amount of water or a little bit of the melted soap base before adding it to the pouring pitcher. I see you mix it with alcohol. Does it matter what I mix Kaolin Clay clay with?
Hi Patti, from what I have read Kaolin clay can be mixed with oils (soaping) or water. But can also be mixed with 99% alcohol. I believe Soap Queen has a great article on this. 🌺
Hi! I'm new at soapmaking and was wondering why use titanium dioxide to make clear MP white and not just use the white MP? Does the titanium dioxide do something extra to the MP? Thanks in advance for any help u can offer 🙋♀️
Hello, I was out of Shea Butter base. I wanted to see how the Titanium Dioxide looked in my opaque melt and pour. I needed a white base but was out of it. :)
I have recently discovered my inner soap maker and your videos. I always learn something new from you. Really appreciate your videos
I love this idea for gifts. What a great idea.

Soap making.....science project
Can you use Shea butter melt and pour for this
how much titanium you use
Why was alcohol added to clay before pouring into the soap? Is it to avoid lumps that form on adding clay?
Can I use this soap for face...???
is this soap suitable for using on the face?
Why use clear and color it white? Why not use white melt and pour?
I see the curl mold soap isn't as shiny as the other mold. I like the matte look better. What type of material is the curl mold? The shin of the molds affects the look of the soap, correct?
No they do not have an effect on the soap. They are all made out of silicone.
Do you have to put titanium dioxide in melt and pour?
The titanium dioxide just adds a white color to soap
So we could have used Shea butter or goat milk melt and pour also ?
Yes, There are premade melt and pour bases with these ingredients.

I have mixed it one time with alcohol and the soap dried the skin. Much better mixed with argan oil, calendula oil or almond oil.
Can we add water to the clay instead of alcohol?
I have never done that, so I am not sure.
Better mixed in oil.

I’m also new to soap making if you used MP Shea would u still use the titanium dioxide? To get it white?
Great info, especially for this newbie! Would you be able to turn the auto focus off in future videos though?
Good.
Did you add glitter? They look glittery on top.
Hello, no glitter added. That was some clay that gave that effect.🌺
doesn't it needs preservative as you added kaolin
This recipe does not need a preservative. 😃
