At this point, i'm certain that no one outside Japan has seen Dogengers. Y'all are just flexing.
I absolutely LOVE the LED eyes on Yabai Kamen. At first I was like "oh cool his eyes have lights" but then the expression changed and now I want my own version of the helmet really really badly. Time to learn how to make my own props and use Arduinos.
If Toei and Tsuburaya watch Dogengers by any chance, they should note that down about the helmet with LED eyes that can change to any shapes depending on the expressions.
Feels like an evolution of sorts of the "eyes" on the Ex-Aid helmets.

Watching Dogengers is a breath of fresh air in terms of introducing me to the world of local heroes of Japan! Man what a ride it was watching the whole season. Will be watching their next season Nice Buddy soon
If you love Dogengers (and Tokusatsu in general) I would seriously recommend stopping by the Soga Station Chuo around fall! It's not as well known because its on the tail end of the Makuhari Messe/Disney Sea Line and just before you hit the Chiba prefecture. Why? You know all those live action Local Hero shows you're seeing in the video?
That's an annual event held in the shopping/arcade area on near Soga Station - Ario! On top of that they also hold live Toku shows/collabs ranging from Ultraman, Kamen Rider and Super Sentai!
I’m so glad you introduced me to this show, it’s become my favorite Tokusatsu show, the passion in the writing and the suits is indescribable! It’s definitely my Toku of the year

i always just figured the "Ger" part in those shows just referred to "Ranger" since that's an universal word for a hero/policeman/savior type of person

0:14 Umm Banpresto (of Super Robot Wars fame) has an entire franchise of those called Compati Hero... Including other Compati Sports games.... In fact one of the earliest games in the entire franchise was Battle Dodge Ball for the Super Famicom followed by main series title SD The Great Hero later that year (that series would get rebranded The Great Battle in the sequel). The Dreamcast game, Tokusatsu Bouken Katsugeki Super Hero Retsuden even had Super Sentai (Goranger and JAKQ) instead of Gundam and an assortment of other early Toei toku heroes like Kikaider, Kyodain, Poitrine, Sanagiman/Inazuman and Robot Detective K (among a couple others).

It's the 199 Local Hero Daikessen. The movie is in youtube and it's not very good. The producer hate tokusatsu and the choreography is a horrible. The company just basically wanted to make quick bucks.
But it's interesting to watch, granted you have watched some of the company's previous work like Yatsurugi season 3 and some other stuff, also in the same RUclips channel.
And yes, the movie is subbed
@@saito1001 The producer "hates toku" yet referenced the Gokaiger crossover movie? Sus AF. It's like if Shirakura referenced Super Sentai in anything Kamen Rider related that Super Sentai wasn't in.

Yes, it's still in youtube, and no, it's not written in ABC. It's written in moon runes so you have to be creative when looking for it.
First, go and find a video called Phoenix Yatsurugi and then click the channel. You can easily find the video in the playlist
@@mattwo7 oh yeah, it's also not subbed, which is strange because i do remember watching it subbed last year. But you don't need sub, the story is way too simple. Think of Super Hero Taisen but with no plot twist

In commentary to that end credit, since in Over Quartzer the Goriders appeared along with the other heisei riders after woz destroyed the heisei sucking blackhole, that officially confirms that Zi O counts the Goriders as Heisei rider which means Oma Zi O officially has the power of the Gorangers, you know, having the power of ALL riders and all(Shirukura also confirms in a tweet that Oma Zi O also has Over Quartzer's cameo riders' powers)
Taking that one step even further, the Gorider Bazooka is actually exactly the same bazooka as the super sentai bazooka seen in Gokaiger vs Goseiger, which as the power of all super sentai meaning....

not gonna lie, i was pretty interested in this Dogengers series myself, the series seem a little comedic but it was grand way on showing local heroes as tokusatsu style, i give this series a nine out of ten :)
