A very interesting film that, and oh what a smashing accent she has. I would imagine the script is well rehearsed, but no one could acquire that accent just to make a film I reckon. Hard to imagine anyone so well-spoken in such a job today. It's an interesting piece of social as well as medical history I reckon.

Imagine having your anesthesia drawn up by a 17 year old?
Hygiene was paramount back then 😊 same in hospitals 🏥 when matron was in charge. The size of the needle 💉 back then 😬 we don’t get pink mouthwash anymore either, after treatment, cost cutting.
