I remember when I had to get my both of my first top molars taken out at the dentist due to my orthodontist deeming them as unnecessary teeth. The whole process of numbing my mouth was super long. Then the prep work they did before taking the teeth out was the worst. They told me I was going to feel a lot of pressure on the teeth, and that it wasn’t going to hurt. They lied. It hurt like hell. And when they toke both teeth out, it felt weird. The whole process of numbing my mouth, taking photos, prep work, etc. was like a whole hour and a half, while taking the teeth out was like 5 minutes. Now I’m terrified of the dentist. At least I got to take my teeth home.
I had the same experience as you my freind yesterday.... I had 9 teeth pulled and boy let me tell ya I was holding onto that chair for dear life everytime he would push up against my tooth .I won't go back again seriously

@@suneesra7074I hear that, last month I had 4 removed, and the pressure was strange, but what sucked was when the ligaments disconnected from the roots that strange pain was like okay wow… then I had two more done two days ago. I’ve been numbed 3 times in my life for various dental procedures. By far, the least painful injection was when the dentist inserted the needle veryyyyy slowwwly, and also the numbing agent…. Ask your dentist to push the syringe very slow. It truly does make a difference.
@@prabalsally4821 Had it pulled out a week ago. The actual procedure is not bad at all (with local anesthesia) and it passes by super quick. The annoying thing for me is the healing process - you have to be pretty cautious for the first 3 days to not dislodge the blood clot.

LOL I have panic attacks in the chair too! It’s not that I am feeling any pain, it’s the idea that I may unexpectedly feel pain. Basically, I worry that the numbing shot will only numb me half way and I may feel some of the procedure. This is what races through my mind, and there is really no way to quell this fear of mine, because the dentist cannot with 100% certainty claim I won’t feel anything 😂
I remember when my dentist shaped down my tooth to literally nothing because my top one was coming in so instead of shaving the top one lower, they just completely shaved my bottom tooth so I had to pick between gum surgery and to get the tooth removed and I chose gum surgery and I regret it. I wish I just got it removed.
Infected teeth are a bitch to numb. It often fails or doesn’t fully numb the tooth. Just keep asking for more numbing agent if you feel anything. You may end up still feeling a very mild, very dull pain for maybe 5-10 seconds, but it’s bearable. It’s nothing crazy. It’s like the pain you feel when you press down hard on your gum. Just a very dull ache.
