- Charted at #3 on Billboard's Records Most Played by Disk Jockeys chart in June 1952. "I'm Yours" was Don's follow-up single to "I'll Walk Alone" and an even bigger hit. He had some considerable competition, particularly from Eddie Fisher, who also charted at #3 with his version. Two other singles of this great song, by the Four Aces and Toni Arden, charted at #17 and #24 respectively. Original Billboard review: "Cornell comes thru with a sock reading of big ballad, bolstered most effectively by strong orchestra backing. Shapes up as another winner for the chanter, following his top-selling "I'll Walk Alone". Overall Billboard rating: 88 out of 100.
With Orchestra Directed By Norman Leyden.
Written by Robert Mellin.
B-side is "My Mother's Pearls". - Видеоклипы
Big, powerful voice. Love this version. Cornell was a top shelf singer.
I was a sophomore at Wayne High School when we heard Don Cornell sing I’m Yours while dancing on the basketball court floor with a dreamy lass…what a memory!
Are you still listening it’s one of my best songs now lol
A very underrated singer who could really sell a song.
When was the first time you head this song ..😂
Time when the ORCHESTRA was so wonderful as the Singer!!!!
Another of the great Italian/American singers of the time; Columbo, Como, Sinatra, Martin, Vic Damone, Jerry Vale, Al Martino, Frankie Laine, Tony Bennet to name a few...
Frankie Avalon
Takes me back a way. So many good versions of this beauty.
Teddyb1939 I was there also and really enjoy this music as much as I did in the 50s

Hello Thelma, how is everything going with you?
🎙️ Music!
I'm yours
Heart and soul I am yours
Can't you see it my eyes?
Can't you hear it in my sighs?
I'm yours
I'm yours
Every kiss says I'm yours
Take my lips and take my arms
I'm a victim of your charms
I'm yours
My life and my love, dear
Are yours to command
I stand here before you
My heart in my hand
I'm yours
All the world knows I'm yours
And I only hope and pray
That someday I'll hear you say
I'm yours
My life and my…
If Don Cornell had a better manager and right connections he would be one of the great singers of that time along with Sinatra and Crosby. Don was a few years ahead of Tony Bennett. But Tony Bennett new the right people.
Tony Bennett definitely had the right connections. He certainly didn't make it on his vocal talents. I always regarded him as one of the most over-rated vocalists in the business.
He should have kept his original name. I think he would have been more popular. He could really belt out a song.
БРАВО!!!!!!!
i saw don back in 1996 in hudson fla along with frankie laine connie frances the gaylords, and larosa,
Really you must be lucky then 🍷
❤️
How I wish you were mine
So obviously Italian. Lol
Well I’ll get straight to the point: do you think you are a good person? You might have thought about it before, or you might have not. But your answer is probably yes. Now the rest of this might get personal, but remember, I can’t see-or hear you reading this, so don’t worry. Now let’s have a look at the Ten Commandments. You don’t have to believe in the Bible to take this quiz:
Have you ever stolen something? Yes no
Have you ever looked with lust? Yes no
Have you ever used the Lord/Jesus/Christ/God’s Name as a swear word? Yes no
Have you ever told a lie? Yes no
You probably answered Yes to, at least, two of those. There are six more. A bit of math would tell you that (10 divided by 2 =5) , out of the Ten Commandments, on average you probably answered Yes to five of them. Do you still think you are a good person? Now I’m doing this because I care about you. You could die at any moment. Your heart may stop right now. And I’d like to see all of you in Heaven. I don’t want you to go to…to...to...to…what was it again? Was it perhaps hell? We have all sinned. Nobody is perfect or worthy in God’s sight. In fact, the only way our sins could be forgiven, was if we offered sacrifices practically every day. We all sin every day. We look with lust, we lie, we blaspheme, we swear and we steal without giving it a second thought. Imagine all those sin and guilt offerings we would have to offer… but we don’t have to. Because God sent His one and only Son Jesus, to die for us on the cross as THE sin offering so that whoever BELIEVES in Him will be forgiven and have eternal life. He took all the sins that will ever be on Himself. He paid the price; i.e. He’s the Person who paid the fine for the stack of offences on the Judges(God’s) desk, so He could let you go. That is how great His Love and Mercy for you is. He has no reason to spare you, apart from His abounding Love and Mercy. You just have to accept His forgiveness, repent, get baptised and turn to Him. You have been warned. Do not reject Him.

Ps: your life-span on this earth is nothing compared to eternity. Just remember that. Is your soul safe…?
PPS: Let the Lord sanctify you. And read a Bible at least once a day, even if it’s just one chapter.
