Both really good answers. I tend to start with the “flagship” beer, and then branch off depending on style. But I might take Vito’s approach the next time around.
Can't go wrong there!
First time watching video and now I'm hooked. Love the 4 spout kegerator.
Awesome, welcome! 🍻
Both great points guys.
I always try to look for a style I've never tried before. Or at least a style that's out of the norm. Often times I'll get a flight and pick one or two of their flagship/out of the norm styles, and pick my favorite styles for the rest. Then I'll order a pint of my favorite choice from the flight.
One option is to sit and observe what beers are being ordered the most.
I'm kinda in between.......Amber Ales/Lagers are my go to/everyday style (Yuengling, Sam Adams, Shiner Bock etc.) so when I go to a new place, that's usually what I'm going with. However, if it's a place that's known for more German/Belgian Styles I'll start off with something like a Hefe, Pilsner, Blonde etc.
I look for less common/harder to find styles such as Belgian style, dark(er) lagers, brown ale, red ale, or American stout (not barrel aged or with adjuncts). Everyone does light lagers and IPAs. You can get those anywhere.
Totally agree with this!
I like getting the flights, but trying to change them up..
Oktoberfest. Ales.
Klaus thought the Roger Moore years when Bond villains became cartoonish was the coolest.
