- A dispute at a drive thru window started over curly fries and ended with gunfire. Anthony Ramos said he pulled into the drive thru at a Jack in the Box in Houston in March 2021. His wife and then-6-year-old child were in his vehicle at the time. He says when he didn’t see the curly fries he ordered in the bag, he told the employee at the window and that’s when things got heated. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

We have a special on fox 26 in Houston where they talk about how there’s over 1600 of these types of people who’ve been let out on low bonds. Hundreds of them went on to commit even more violent crime.

It was in the heat of the moment. Unpredictable things happens. To be fair the driver escalates the problem by throwing those food.

My point is that this would had been avoided if the driver didn’t escalate the problem.

That bullet hit something. Thank God it didn't kill anyone. Imagine driving, walking, or being in your apartment and getting hit with a stray bullet meant for someone who didn't get their curly fries. Regardless of the words exchanged, there is no excuse for the gun, especially while in the workplace. The fact that she only got a misdemeanor charge is completely insane. What an unhinged animal of a woman.

There is a recent case in Georgia where at an apt community a woman and her husband knocked on a neighbor's door to ask him to turn down the music. He responded by shooting THROUGH the door with no warning. Bullet hit the woman in her abdomen and hand. She has lasting injuries. Neighbor charged with a MISDEMEANOR. No jail time!!!! Ridiculous.

As a general rule I never argue with someone who is handling or preparing my food because that’s usually a recipe for something bad to happen . If it’s not something physical, they will do something to your food that certainly isn’t on the menu.

In Florida, there is the 10-20-Life law. If she had done this in Florida, the mandatory minimum sentence would've been 20 years in prison. If anyone got struck 25-life. You get 10 just for pulling the gun and pointing it at the person. The only time you can do any of that is if an equal threat is directed towards you..then it becomes a "Stand your ground" situation.
Seems pretty common sense to me, problem here is that she pulled out the race card and that seems to be enough for the company to bend the knee for her. Legally that shouldn't be enough to justify firing a weapon at someone. She should be in jail and she is clearly a threat to public safety.
