Ok. So as an Air Battle Manager, let me educate you on what “bandit” really means. Bandit is an identifier for confirmed enemy aircraft that you are not yet cleared to kill due to whatever ROE. The word your looking for is “Hostile”. Identifying them as confirmed enemies with hostile intent etc or most importantly, red air you are cleared to kill. We’d be reporting to you their position based on the designated “bullseye” and order your wall of raptors to commit to those hostile contacts. Also pairing your shooters to specific targets
I think out of all the camera angles you've used, G/S, in all the videos you've done over the years, nothing matches that volley of AMRAAMS from all those Raptors in the contrails. That was a siight to see.
I can't imagine being a pilot like that in a live formation and seeing them all leave at once. I understand they are focused on their job and worried about counter-fire but for a second they have to go, "Damn that is incredible looking."

I just imagine the cybermen Vs daleks scene from doctor who “We have five million cyber men, many are you?” “Four” “You would destroy the cyber men with four daleks?!” “We would destroy the cyber men with ONE DALEK”
Co-ordinated targeting in large formations of aircraft (aggressors and defenders) is extremely difficult in such fast moving scenarios as can be seen from the Tac-view. Quite a few missiles flew through the MiG-9 formation and 1 MiG became a missile magnet. This might become critical if larger formations are encountered and they employ more thoughtful tactics, ie, multi-heights, multi-directions and staggered waves aswel as jamming and walls of chaff.
which is exactly why networked computing and radar integration is such a big deal on F-35, those thing would all link together and dedicate one weapon to each target in the innitial volley
Those older MIGs were MIG-17 Frescoes, North Korea never had the MIG-9 Fargo. The Fargo only served in the Soviet Air Force, and was one of their Gen-1 jet fighters.
How about F-22 against that same North Korean Air force? I need to see how you hold up against impossible odds. Using missles, guns, middle fingers, etc I so love the Raptor. Unbelievable that they want to phase these out of commission. Thanks for the videos.
If the F-22 has enough time, an airbase to refuel and reload missiles, and enough Patriot sites and other air defenses to defend that base so it can't be taken out on the ground, then it's not impossible odds. In fact I'd say it would be quite easy. Just take off, climb to 60.000 ft, fly towards North Korean planes, launch 6 AMRAAMs at 15 miles where your AMRAAM can't miss them but also they can't lock you yet, turn around, speed away back to base at 60.000 ft, land, refuel and reload, repeat. Nothing they can put into the air should be able to do anything about it. If they choose to remain on the ground, well, the F-22 can carry precision guided bombs too.
The only reason they'd think about getting rid of the F-22 is that there is a cheaper, better alternative. Just wait until the Defense Department decides we need a 6th or 7th gen air to air missile to match the NGAD's level of scary.
@tetraxis3011 I wouldn't say "super far away." The b21 is a 6th gen, and it's been hinted by skunkworks/lockheed that a 6th gen fighter is already being designed. With the way they are using digital testing and design processes, we could see a test flight of a new 6th gen fighter in the next couple years.
That tacview just looked like a bunch of sharks that suddenly smelled blood in the water. Raptors wiped out the higher altitude flight and then circled back, dove, and swarmed. Really cool to see
The fact that watching it you know the Raptors capabilities are not on full display and DESPITE this, the sheer movement off the Raptors is terrifying.
"I don't think they'd all charge headfirst into a wall of raptors realistically" Bold of you to assume they'd have any clue the raptors were even in the air 😂
I saw a two-ship of Raptors at the Honolulu airport in 2016 while we were taxiing. They were beautiful. How many passnegers knew they were next to the deadliest aircraft in the world and one of the most advanced weapons ever made by man?
And the crazy part is that you could have three raptors lock onto each target independently and relay that info to a wall of B1 and B2 way back out of range and they can take out those targets. The F22s won’t ever need to fire a shot.
One scary thing is, this wouldn't be the HALF of it. We'd have F-35s already in their airspace, designating targets for not only the Raptors, but for our "missile boats," F-15s and even B-52s, who would be hitting from over 100 miles away with MASSIVE loadouts of long range death. The Raptors wouldn't have much left to do, other than pick the bones. Meanwhile, the NKs wouldn't know it was coming until they all suddenly started falling out of the sky. Current air combat doctrine is some scary sh*t...for our enemies.

12:48 - One MiG-29 was possibly going to score a Raptor kill, but its missile was intercepted by an AMRAAM at 12:52
NK EWR operator: sir, we have a bunch of bees crossing the DMZ at this time.
NK commander: oh shit...

"Mobius 8 on standby."
"Preparations complete, ready for battle. All aircraft, follow Mobius 1!"
*"Mobius 1, engage."*
You're not gonna believe this, Jean-Louis! All of them have Ribbon insignias!
bro imagine all of your friends and teamates get killed in less than 5 minutes while you see absolutely nothing on radar. must be terrifying
Yeah MIG-29 doesn't have chances but still it's never smart to underestimate enemy. Besides I quess that in situation where NK would really plan to engage F-22 they would either upgrade F-22 or get new jets from China.
Came for a quick laugh. Stayed for the shock and awe. The way the 22s just weave through any R77s is amazing, really showcasing the capability of the low radar cross-section. Fantastic demonstration here.
Air to air combat is a thing of the past, like US dominance.
I had the same reaction: clicked on it on a lark, then sat and watched silently, eyes widening.

I saw a similar event on National Geographic.
Bull sharks trapped a school of grouper against a reef.
Poor groupers
That felt like that famous pile-up scene from Blues Brothers, except that instead of police cars joining the crash, it's Migs getting schwacked! What a show!
I watched four raptors fly over my town on veterans day. That was potent.
Living in Las Vegas by NAFB I get to see them fly by almost everyday that seeing them is like nothing, but damn I can't imagine how it feels for someone who doesn't see them often or even worse when you're on the opposing team lol
Awesome! Love seeing the F-22 hunting in a pack!
I was F- 16 a/b c/D maintenance technician, loved doing engine runs in the hush house ,Never beat the prestige and professionalism of that job in the civilian life ,,Glory days going to a/b on the ground
0:20 imagine you're kim and this is the first video you see by an american
We need to see you fly the F 35
Damn,so that was what a normal high school football team vs the 1985 bears would look like...
lmao, just missing the fridge
That tactical debrief looked like sharks at feeding time!
You know you've seriously fucked up when 10 F-22 are sent to intercept your entire airforce
F-22: "Would you intercept me? I'd intercept me."
Those poor mig17s had no chance against the raptors 😂
Love these large scale combat scenarios!
5:24 I legit thought to myself, why look! One of them survived... I should have waited
If you see the raptor, you're either on the same side or you're not looking at a raptor; you're looking at death.
They probably would never see the Raptor, they’d just get hit.
its like the one that flew under the russian plane without being seen and radiod him to just go home. Could of been chinese i dont remember who we did it to exactly
@@ScootsMcPoot It was an Iraqi or Iranian (don't fully remember) F-4, but yeah amazing moment in the F-22's lifetime
Oooooh Christmas came early! Should be a pretty crazy battle
Seeing that many raptors is wild. That's like ten percent of the currently operational fleet.
Nope! It's a bit above 5% (10/~190)

I'm trying to imagine a North Korean picking up a single Raptor on radar at the last min and thinks "Oh God no!" and then 10 more Raptors pop up on radar a second later. lol Just sheer terror and defeat before the Amrams starts to light everyone up.
Clean up hitter with a Raptor....nice work!
There’s a reason the U.S. doesn’t export the f22, besides the fact the company who made them doesn’t anymore.
I just imagine the cybermen Vs daleks scene from doctor who
“We have five million cyber men, many are you?”
“Four”
“You would destroy the cyber men with four daleks?!”
“We would destroy the cyber men with ONE DALEK”
@@Asghaad Would be good if such a thing existed, but it doesn't, so your point is moot.
@@csjrogerson2377 what are you on about, sensor networking and weapon guidance sharing is BASIC function of the F-35 ...
Or two morons in f22s.
(Seriously, need more two morons content)
The only reason they'd think about getting rid of the F-22 is that there is a cheaper, better alternative. Just wait until the Defense Department decides we need a 6th or 7th gen air to air missile to match the NGAD's level of scary.
That gen is still super far away. The AIM260 isnt even finished yet.@@lexwaldez
An entire new series like some of those Elden Ring boss series. "Can anyone survive the Raptor Wall?"
That tacview just looked like a bunch of sharks that suddenly smelled blood in the water. Raptors wiped out the higher altitude flight and then circled back, dove, and swarmed. Really cool to see
Mig Pilot: What could be worse than being hit by an AMRAM?
GS: TWO AMRAMs!!!
This wasn't an aerial battle this was a slaughter
I can imagine the raptor pilots making bets on who can down more bandits XD
Could you imagine being a pilot in 2023, and you're assigned a MiG-15? Just shoot me now!
Man, if that happens, i'd rather be an infantry grunt.
Just give me AKs rather than that antique flying bucket
@@imtiredtiredtired probably gonna fall apart during take off 😂
The fact that watching it you know the Raptors capabilities are not on full display and DESPITE this, the sheer movement off the Raptors is terrifying.
"I don't think they'd all charge headfirst into a wall of raptors realistically"
Bold of you to assume they'd have any clue the raptors were even in the air 😂
That set of simultaneous launches at 3:19 was hot.
Watching those volleys of missiles was quite the view.
Tac view shows 3 raptors simultaneously gun killing the same guy. Trick shots indeed! haha
Its pretty amazing how he got 900 aircraft to run in DCS his computer must be super good!
The scary thing is that this video demonstrates a level of destructive capability that is inferior to the actual capabilities of a F22.
I saw a two-ship of Raptors at the Honolulu airport in 2016 while we were taxiing. They were beautiful. How many passnegers knew they were next to the deadliest aircraft in the world and one of the most advanced weapons ever made by man?
Raptor videos are just too addicting to watch. Another amazing mission
The 4-5 missiles on that one MiG-29 was personal.
In falconry, a group of raptors is called a cast.
People with Harris hawks fly in huge cast
I’ve flown with 5 at once.
Imagine seeing just a beehive going faster than the speed of sound on radar
It would be terrifying for any other country to find out a squadron of 10 raptors operating in their airspace.
And the crazy part is that you could have three raptors lock onto each target independently and relay that info to a wall of B1 and B2 way back out of range and they can take out those targets. The F22s won’t ever need to fire a shot.
This was insanely crazy to watch incredible gaming love it !👍 good freaking work!!
By far best video you have ever made please do this more!!!
"Would you intercept me? I'd intercept me..." - F-22 pilot (probably)
Good old tact view, nothing beat that =)
Unpopular opinion, those unpainted North Korean MiG-29s are beautiful!
After that first volley, all the Mig 29's were dead and to see the Raptors swing back on the older Mig group was really amazing in that Tact view.
