A trick I learned a while back is put as little air as possible into your singing the more you feel it vibrating the better it’ll sound. Also stop trying to sing like the person who’s song it is. If its an ariana grande song and you cant hir those notes just sing the song medium pitch or deep. It’ll still sound amazing just a different volume.

I’m 19 and have been taking “RUclips lessons” for about 4 or 5 months. I’ve definitely noticed some improvement but my main thing is I don’t feel I have a fully matured voice. I feel I’m trying to match singers that are 26-40 and have voices for their age and it frustrates me because my voice will not sound that mature. Is this a thing that will come with time or am I overreacting? Thanks
Instead of trying 2 match singers way older than u,how bout u search 4 great singers, preferably kids 2 see if u find their voice mature.
I personally don't think maturity of voice had to do with age.with practice yr voice can get there too.

You can totally develop your own voice - but def don't want to imitate other people's voices. If you can, I recommend getting some expert training. Is there any way you can schedule even 1 voice lesson for an assessment?

I have some problem and one of them is that my pronunciation isn't that well when singing hm I need to improve more and also my voice is kinda "sand-y". Know what I mean? It feels sand-y and unclear. It's annoying haha
When you slightly over-articulate when singing, it fixes that and sounds like normal articulation.

Trying to learn to sing and out of the blue surprise my GF who is a musician. I play piano she plays guitar and we both have gone to the Berkley College of music for music camp type stuff if that makes sense. I think I get the basics but I need to learn a bit more of the technicality stuff.

Imma be 100% honest in one of my old schools in our choir whenever we had to hit high notes we had to have helium balloons on us I wish I was joking like a teacher be fed up if we couldn't hit it so basically we would have to have this part were we would turn around grab the helium balloon 😲go with the air 3 people passed out on stage before because of this

That's what my band teacher taught me for singing parts in some songs, I'm a bass player but I can hit pitches that are so high because of that
