And I want you to actually restore something instead of making channels to get more play buttons and putting carbon fiber with gold leaf into everything
You and Tysy were the first restore channels I stated watch. I know you and tysy colab a lot. I started watching The Fabrik last year...I truly love that you know him too. You all are amazingly Cool! Thanks for the awesome video...as always😁
Excellent! Tip: I had a fire engine like this and the string went along the underside of the lower ladder towards the cab, back down the upper side and attached to the bottom of the upper ladder. That way, the winding shaft extended the ladder. You didn’t need to pull it up. Hope that helps
Three thoughts: 1) FANTASTIC restoration! Beautifully, respectfully done and presented in a way that is so satisfying to watch that it's borderline hypnotic - BRAVO! 2) Amazing ingenuity in the build design of these toys. The way pieces lock into place solely with tabs and subassemplies that are held captive by parts installed afterwards is fascinating. 3) So nice to see comaradarie and mutual support among the premier YT restoraton content creators. I subscribe to both TheFabrik and this channel, as well as numerous others. Appreciate that you guys recognize you're not competing for eyeballs - you're nurturing a devoted community of viewers who really enjoy your talent and passion.
Nice shout out to "The Fabrik", as he does some killer restorations on his channel as well, it's cool to see those in the community helping one another out.
Another absolutely awesome restoration, David. We are always amazed at your attention to detail and perfection to actually better than new in the end. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Definitely have missed your videos, your attention to detail is always impressive.great work, great video.just keep on doing your thing.be safe.great restoration.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Missed you. Glade you are back. Another great restoration and your attention to detail is unbelievable. Love how you make parts with such precision. Definitely Cool Again.
Despite being toys, these things are quite an engineering feat. Consider all the specialized punches and dies that are required to manufacture each sheetmetal part! Also, consider all these toys were most likely hand-assembled, just as we see in nice restoration videos like this. The ladder was a very nice and intricate piece. Love it!
Words don’t suffice to express how impressed I am with your impeccable restorations. I greatly respect the fact that you refabricate only when it’s a last option. Your dedication to restoring (rather than rebuilding) these toys is extremely gratifying. The onscreen descriptions are really helpful in understanding what you’re doing at any given point-thank you for taking the time to share that info with viewers. The production quality of your videos is quite fine! I have subscribed and will be happily watching more of your videos. By the way, what a pleasant surprise to discover that you and the gentleman at The Fabrik are friends. I’m not surprised, you’re both very talented and clearly work hard at your craft. I’m a woman and a painter, but I see your tools and still covet them! My father had such tools and taught me to use them. I miss him and the fun I had working in his shop with him. The great things one can achieve with the proper tools, right? Lastly, thanks for letting us see the restored fire truck in action, and, for your heartfelt shoutout to firefighters everywhere. À tout à l’heure 😊🙏🏼
Merci beaucoup 😊 thanks a lot for these kind words , you are so kind and thanks for being here . Glad to have such people here . Wish you all the best 😊
I waited all day to get home from work to watch. I finally get to see your face and you are spitting water through a tube. 😋😋 I was really impressed in how you made the key. Very glad you kept the unique original details. I am sure the restoration is more valuable with the original art. Great restoration is not just knowing what to do, it is sometimes knowing what NOT to do. Great job my friend.
Thanks a lot ! Actually not because I take only projects I find them interesting for my audience and if the project turn down and became harder , I always find a way to fix it . Maybe not at that moment but after a while. For example I had an idea to make a project 3 years ago but I wasn’t sure about a thing and how to do it . Last week I find a way for that 3 years old project so I will make it happen this year 😅
I didn’t had time to reply . I respect all the opinions I receive from my audience . I made how you said , in the past , but when a thing has enormous parts for restoration , could be boring to watch . Some people find that interesting to see that it’s almost done and ding 🛎️ more process ready to come . But every time I try to find a balance in what I’m doing and to delivery what my audience want
Wonderful restoration, man! It turned out amazing!!! 😃 Someday I'm going to do the same... But I'm going to convert it to rc electronics, with a big brushless motor! 😬 Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Im not really a fan of those old metal toys, but I did enjoy watching the restoration. You had a lot of work to do and you did a stunning job, sir. Amazing how many parts to that truck. Anyways, great job! Any, nice touch with the water!
David, you set the standard very high. Look for an example of 'perfection' anywhere on the internet with regard to restoration or creation videos (subject, photography, editing, final product) and yours would consistently be at the top. One of my favorites is the #15 stainless steel copper pool ball. Have you considered making any instructional videos?
Thank you very much and glad you enjoyed 😊 I didn’t considered yet because I’m very busy making quality projects and quality videos , but maybe in the near future I will make them too 😊 thanks for being here , wish you all the best
No , in this video was the first time when I put a background sound . Actually in the area I live , the birds chirping a lot but because of the microphone I use , they can’t be hear from outside.
@@CoolAgainRestoration Well, it's very much appreciated! I find these videos technically interesting but I also get a lot of mental health, meditative benefits, so thank you.
Oh wow, the way the water was "pumped" was really funny 🤣🤣🐢
Thanks a lot mate 👍
I love how the top restoration guys are friends and help each other out!
Thought the same thing while watching this 😮 :D

Boys and our toys.
I just want to let you know that was a big mistake, I want my FireTruck back 😅👏🔥
Your machinist work is impeccable congrats
If you fire your house with your canon ball , probably this fire truck will come in help for you 😅
Yooo when are you going to post something 😅!!
Hahaha..nice!
And I want you to actually restore something instead of making channels to get more play buttons and putting carbon fiber with gold leaf into everything
Hats off Mr Cool Again 🙌 Such a painstaking job on that one. So peaceful and relaxing. Congrats
Thanks a lot mate , and thanks again for the replacement parts 😊
This is an awesome restoration! Bless you and the firefighters worldwide 💎
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed 😊 wish you all the best
With it being a French-made toy, I’m surprised it didn’t have a French town or city named after it; like Paris, Lyons or Avignon…
@chrismayer3919 probably was a national company with factories everywhere…
I love it when you people help each other out - such a cool community!
Yeah , it’s truly awesome . Thanks a lot 😊
You and Tysy were the first restore channels I stated watch. I know you and tysy colab a lot. I started watching The Fabrik last year...I truly love that you know him too. You all are amazingly Cool! Thanks for the awesome video...as always😁

Doing the soft sandblast on the parts that needed it, and preserving the details on the main console, great work!

Amazing Craftsmanship and Restoration 👍🏻👍🏽👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks a lot 😊
Nice.. I think the rope is supposed to go over the pulley at the end of the first section of ladder so when you wind it, it extends the ladder.
Thanks! I thought that too but wasn’t working that way. I have to figure out how it’s the correct way.
Perfect job 👍👍👍
Thank you very much 👍
Much awaited, much appreciated excellent work as always from you.
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed 😊
All the hard work that went into making a key 🎉🎉🎉
Yeah , it was way easier to buy one from eBay but I want to add something beautiful to watch in the video . Thanks a lot and glad you liked it 😊

Outstanding restoration!!
Thank you very much 😊
Another great restoration! I have to ask. Have you ever taken on a project that you simply couldn't restore to your satisfaction?
Thanks a lot ! Actually not because I take only projects I find them interesting for my audience and if the project turn down and became harder , I always find a way to fix it . Great job sir !!! Only a suggestion, restore all the parts, then finish the assembly at once.
You didn't like my suggestion ! Ok good !

All it needs now is a red rotary beacon; a clear bead or acrylic jewel might accomplish this.
Really cool restoration of this fire truck 👍😎
