Anders bagge is a Famous swedish tv person so basically everyone in sweden knows who he is, thats Why i think he got to second place. I didnt think the song was bad But definitly not second place worthy. Would have been fun to see him in eurovision😂

Cornelia (Jakobsdotter, actually) feels so refreshing for a Swedish entry. No bells and whistles, no Beyonce fans, no (badly) choreographed backing dancers. Just a charismatic singer telling a strong story in three minutes. But just as rigidly directed. She comes across as she's improvising, but every angle, every flip of her uncoiffed hair and every lovelorn look of her smoky gaze is immaculately planned. But it's still a performance that reaches out to everyone watching it. Edited: the perfect example of - can't recall my exact wording - how perfectly executed each performance always is is Loren as the middle act in what was then called 'andra chansen' with "Paper Light". It's not de rigeur to post links in comment sections, but that is simply a perfectly filmed performance. I still try to figure out how they did it all live. For a music video, sure, but then you have unlimited time to cut and edit things. I have rarely been so mesmerised and enthusiastic about anything coming out of Melodifestivalen.

As a swede I for sure hear the "swedish" sound in songs. I don't even really listen to swedish/Western music anymore (I listen mostly to kpop) but sometimes I hear kpop songs that sounds swedish... and GUESS WHAT!😂 I'm almost always right! the songs I hear it in has almost always at least 1 swedish or at least scandinavian producer 👀 and yes, Cazzi Opeia (who was in mello this year) pops up in the credits for alot of those kpop songs.
That last part when she won I feel like us Swedes and Europeans overall don’t care for stuff like that. Americans overall seems a lot more sensitive to bodily moves and expressions but that’s just my interpretation. Like Europe: Naked attraction is completely uncensored on the tv. Anders Bagge actually sang it much better in the final than in the heat. Go back and listen to them both (they are on youtube), the difference is huge.

I liked some of the songs, but many didn't quite strike me like they did some years back, even last year was better. I liked The Mamas then. This year was pretty weak. At least Lisa Ajax, a favorite of mine, was back, but it wasn't her song. The rest of the song, sung by a hip-hop artist, kinda sucked...

I want Italy to win, since Brividi is the best song of 2022, not just of Eurovision - Mahmoud and Blanco's song is simply the best! My two favorite songs didn't make it to the final: Shirley Clamp's Let There Be Angels and Alvaro Estrella's Suave. My least favorites were Lillasyster's Till Our Days Are Over and Medina's In I dimman - not my type of music! I also didn't care for Hallabaloo (Danne Strahed). I thought Liamoo's Bluffin' was going to win or maybe Anders Bagge's Bigger Than the Universe - although his presentation was too static for me. To one degree or another I liked all of the other songs. A few of them might have made it to the top ten. Edit: I had forgotten that awful "banana' song - that one was truly horrendous! (:

I am all for online voting, do not get me wrong now, but I think it should be age restricted and account based. You think the younger generations listen to adults and old fuddy-duddies? Think again. Uhm message and song wise? Saturnistic/satanic and demonic. It is NOT what it used to be back in the days.
