  • This video is about how I made our own Do it Yourself Ball Picker Upper for Table Tennis.
You don’t need to pick the balls again from the net collector. Or not having to mess with the collected ball if there is no stopper in the mouth of the ball picker.
It is painful in the back picking balls manually with your bare hands. It is ok if it is just twice or thrice per session. Imagine if you will pick the balls, search them down under the tables and chairs 10 to 15 times every time you are through with your turn with the robot.
From the medical perspective, I understand that you are not supposed to sit down after heavy breathing due to extreme physical activity. It is better to walk around first to normalize your heartbeat before sitting. How much more if you bend downwards to pick the ball. You are placing your heart, which is pumping blood heavily, below your body.
But, buying it online is very expensive, too commercialized. Some were not uppers, and some are very difficult to use under the tables and chairs.
Now here is how I made our DIY Ball Picker Upper:
The significant materials needed were an old badminton racket and a selfie stick. After watching the video on how I did it, the following problems were solved.
    1. Avoided backaches from picking the balls.
    2. Avoided bending over after a heavy workout.
    3. Saved money from buying commercial ones. I think about 20 to 40 US dollars online.
    4. Recycled old or damaged equipment.
And there you are, mga Kabarkada. I hope you like my video. Please thumbs up if I was of help to your DIY ball picker. Please subscribe and share this video. Comment below if you made a ball picker similar to mine, or you tried making yours.
Thanks for watching. Until next time, cheers!

Very nice. Thanks for taking the time to explain pitfalls like badminton raquet hollow tube. I was thinking of doing the same, but hadn't thought of hollow tube.

Looks like a steel shaft, that’s why it wanted to break rather than bend. If you use a aluminium shaft racket it should bed just fine. 👍

@@MyPingPongBuddy Wow, that's good. My version is not that impressive, just a slight modification from what I see on RUclips.
