Well Adam is about USATT 2100 the last two guys are definitely above this but the lobbing style can lose to a powerful 1800 level smasher. That’s why Adam actually tried to attack (meaning he knew lobbing is no longer useful)
I don't think I saw a single quality attacking backhand. I suppose opponents just put a lot of pressure into her backhand. Her forehand kinda crazy yo
IMO she has the capability of activating "tournament mode" in a match like this. I think the others played more of a casual game (in this still quite casual setting).
I’m the “Ryan” in this video I’m so appreciate that Adam actually kept the promise he said that he’ll visit NTOU someday when we first met.

Well not really, its more attacking and being aggressive and offensive side of the table. She always stay low thats how she can go back to front of the table to defend whenever the opponent get her smash back

it's just a style matchup, the others perform better on a consistent basis.
also gotta mention some of the players weren't trying as hard.
The last player was a perfect example. Trolling so much. If he wasn't messing around he probably would have won.

I first across Adam during the commentary in Tokyo Olympics. I was mesmerized by his voice and interesting commentary of brilliant technical knowledge with in between fun facts which showed his knowledge of Chinese, Japanese language as well as few Indian words like "choley" . I kept on listening his voice for three years not knowing even his name. But then recently when I listened his voice in ultimate table tennis I searched for commentators name and got to know his name finally!! Then stumbled upon his youtube channel which is absolutely amazing. I came to know that he is such a wonderful table tennis player through his channel especially his "snake" shots. This message is my "Omiyage(お土産)" to him.
Adam is a great guy overall. Always very respectful and positive to everyone he meets.

Everything is allowed to touch except ur non racket hand and u can’t touch net I think. Ur also not allowed to move the table but laying on it is fine pretty sure
@@quaag_aplled only your racket can touch the table, even touching it slightly is a foul. There might be tolerance based on where you play and what level do you play though.

11. you may not touch the table with your non-paddle hand
You may touch the ball or the table with your paddle hand (after reaching in to return a short serve, for example), or other parts of your body. NOTE: If the table moves at all from your touching it during a rally, that is your opponent’s point.
I like Eface's strategy of "hit it hard enough to break through the opponent's paddle".

the way adam is only mostly defending on others rank and is still able to win almost all of them shows how adam hasnt even gave the full of his strength yet. Bravo.
He is defensive player. It’s how they play. People with weak mentallity struggle against these types. When you reach super high levels is where defensive players fall off

One of the interesting things was that the few girls who did play were all in the top 6. Honestly thought it'd be top 20 men, but it's mixed, and the women are the best! Awesome!!!
