But more likely it's that Logan is already rich AF, while dudes like this aren't and can't buy off courts or buy a dream team of lawyers.

yeah I hate religion it brings more negativity than positivity in our world since FOREVER and it creates delusional people, and it seperates us even more.
There are people in this world that absolutely refuses to believe they are a bad person. This guy is one of them. To him, it's God that is giving him this money instead of him scamming people. These people feel no guilt towards their actions because they don't believe they did anything wrong.
There's a lot more of this than there should be. People confusing what they want or a random situation as "God's will" even though their book condemns it...
The sad part is that there are definitely a bunch of smooth brains who who will pray that these people will come back. "The lord told him to do this. HE HAS A HIGHER PLAN."
"I can't be held accountable for my actions; God told me to do it." Riiiiiight. While I do find this hilarious, I kinda feel bad for those that were taken for a ride. I have family that would believe this bullshit. Faith is fine, but when you don't exercise critical thought these things are going to happen (And will continue to happen).
Using people’s trust in religion always makes me unbelievably angry, especially in situations like this. Thank you for covering this Muta. Also the “Get a **FUCKING FINANCIAL ADVISOR**” sent me to the friggin moon. There was so much emphasis on the f bomb it was perfect.
To paraphrase a line from Futurama that comes to mind, "What do they think God got to be God by giving people money?" I highly doubt any court of law will "believe" that God told them to commit a crime.
As a Christian, I just have no words for this. This violates the rules of the Bible in just so many ways... And that they try to push the blame to God is just the icing of the cake. Don't know how many people remember the story of Moses, but when he went to the Pharaoh to prove God was with him and commanded snakes (iirc), the priests of the Phraoh who were no prophets commanded snakes just like him. It does not take a genius to deduce where they got that power and "inspiration" from.
No accountability at all. You can hear this “preacher“ talking about God told me to do this and that! He is nothing but a liar and scammer! Unbelievable!😠
"Hearing and experiencing god daily" That's how this scheme creates wealth for it's members; god contacts you daily with new scam ideas. Occasionally, (Sundays) he will advise a new extension or patio.
"That is deemed worthless by the state" was pretty funky to me. Like, he's blaming God as his motive, but he knows enough about the law to know how far to go. That being said, reminds me of prosperity gospel like Kenneth Copeland who made his congregation fund his private jet and literally gaslit a news reporter on camera over a very easy quote that he doesn’t want to get into "a long tube with a bunch of demons".
That one makes me absolutely wheeze because he could have gotten away with that by citing logistics and not wanting to have to deal with booking regular flights
@littlegiantj8761 Or by not being an asshole on a very public interview. The funny part was the straight up fear tactic live when confronted. Pappy didn't even try to hide.
The problem is not that this "pastor" thinks that his specific god told him to do this. The problem is that there will still be people who will believe him.
Remember how Les Mis (the book) opens by talking about the priest who was so dedicated to helping people with the money he received, the church more or less had to threaten him for him to spend _any_ on himself, and even then he basically committed benevolent embezzlement as much as he could? This is the other side of that coin.

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Romans 8:29-30
29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
2 Peter 3:15-18
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
1 Corinthians 2:6-16
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? *even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.*
12 *Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God;* that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 *But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.*
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
@@khill8645 nah man. That one the ONE time it was genuinely god! Every other time was just people lying or acting crazy! Its ridiculous 😂
@@khill8645 with what evidence back it up?

Molly White is such a cool person tbh, she does NOT get enough credit. She’s been a Wikipedia Arbitrator for 6 years, and has been massively influential in the tech space, can’t state it enough. Very cool to see her shown on this channel, great vid! :D
OMGGG i know her from her crypto journalism, i totally agree she deserves so much more credit and attention! she’s brought so many scammers to light w her journalism AND has to deal with these people’s backlash, i can’t even imagine what that’s like lol
Still baffles me how many other crypto scammers they’ve gone after yet Logan is free still baffles me what are they waiting on? And honestly not shocked by this .
It's basically legal to scam if you're rich enough.
Tbf, Logan is getting sued by a bunch of people. It's why his (10%) "refund" comes with the condition that he not be sued anymore. I think the reason (at least, according to the DA's office) he isn't going to the slammer is because he never cashed out like the other dude. But more likely it's that Logan is already rich AF, while dudes like this aren't and can't buy off courts or buy a dream team of lawyers.
@@wendynerd1199hit the nail on the head
“Is god gonna send down his legal team?” had me dying 😭
i think the band Genesis sung about this topic back in the 90's called " jesus he knows me "
And then Ghost made a cover of that.
I fuckin HOWLED when the dude said "the home remodel that the Lord told us to do" LOL feels like it's been a long time since I belly laughed along with Muta like that, gob bless. Needed this shit so bad after the max crap.
The way you joke about religion was honestly awesome lmao, god bless you brother
yeah I hate religion it brings more negativity than positivity in our world since FOREVER and it creates delusional people, and it seperates us even more.
There are people in this world that absolutely refuses to believe they are a bad person. This guy is one of them. To him, it's God that is giving him this money instead of him scamming people. These people feel no guilt towards their actions because they don't believe they did anything wrong.
The Apostle Paul talked about people who preached for money in his letters, it's not like this is a new idea.
The Lord told me to watch this video. He sent me a link in an email.
It's incredible what someone can say and do when they simply lack a conscience. Truly despicable and evil.
"God told me"... is seen as legit in this country instead of psychotic.
The lord said; "Thy crib needs to be improved, and so it shall be! AMEN!"
Spiritualism can be healthy and actually improve your life and those around you. It can also destroy your life and those around you.
All organised religion is a scam. Everything bad in religion comes from organised power. Just believe what u want to.
There's a lot more of this than there should be. People confusing what they want or a random situation as "God's will" even though their book condemns it...
It being an online church is the first red flag.
Wait its not even a real church?
Come on, Jesus. Flip them tables!
Dear God, help me to trust You even when I don’t understand what You’re doing.
🤷♂️🤦♂️
I'm not even religious and this still makes my blood boil.
The sad part is that there are definitely a bunch of smooth brains who who will pray that these people will come back. "The lord told him to do this. HE HAS A HIGHER PLAN."
And God said, "Let there be Doge Coin."
When you've got a religion that teaches "if God tells you to kill your own kid, you do it" there isn't really anything that's off the table
When God tells you to do something, you do it without questioning it lmao 🤣
🤣
God didn't tell him to do this. Infact he says the opposite
@H.V.C_Shino i mean he probaly did, god has told people to do some pretty fucked up shit. not saying it right tho.....
@@murlocmaster6192 No way that a god that tortures their children would do this.
@@murlocmaster6192 nope. He didn't. Goes against God's word.
And this is one of many reasons why I am against organized religion. Churches should be taxed as businesses, period.
For real
Your reaction to his video cracked me up. Like 8 seconds of just you laughing and I'm dying over here 😂😂
This is the greatest apology video of all time. "People said we pocketed over a million dollars. This is true."
I smell an insanity defense coming.
And on the 7th day, God said "This is not financial advice."
To paraphrase a line from Futurama that comes to mind, "What do they think God got to be God by giving people money?"
I highly doubt any court of law will "believe" that God told them to commit a crime.
yea there have been quite some criminals claiming god told them to do it, and it didnt go too well for them in court.
Thanks for the loud Steam notification Muta. Very cool!
I 100% thought I just randomly got an achievement in the game I was playing
If you buy now, you can get your own Bored Jesus NFT, complete with customizable crucifix.
“A few hundred thousand dollars went to a home remodel that the Lord told us to do” LMAOOOO
No accountability at all. You can hear this “preacher“ talking about God told me to do this and that! He is nothing but a liar and scammer! Unbelievable!😠
“God made me do it”
😂😂😂😂
“The other half went to a home remodel that god told us to do.”

Muta is having a field day with this one 😂
I can't believe God would do this to them! How could he?!
8:45 achievement unlocked: God am I scammer!
"Hearing and experiencing god daily"
That's how this scheme creates wealth for it's members; god contacts you daily with new scam ideas.
The sad part is none of these people have never seen or heard god but they believe that god is protecting them.
8:52 wow. Sin of Adam. He is blaming God for his sin.
The problem is not that this "pastor" thinks that his specific god told him to do this.
The problem is that there will still be people who will believe him.
Making God your fall guy is fucking insane 😭
I LOVE THAT YOU'RE COVERING THIS! YESSSS

Can't wait for muta to cover Ray Comfort next
saying that thousands of dollars (donated under false pretenses) went to "a home remodel the Lord told us to do" is out of this world insane 💀
Every time he says “God told us it was gonna be a new thing” I lose a bit of my mind!
There was a kickstarted where Sun told to lady that she doesn't have to do it anymore (after she got the money).
Mutah you just made me lose my edging streak god damn it

@@GhostlyDogg you heard the man
Remember how Les Mis (the book) opens by talking about the priest who was so dedicated to helping people with the money he received, the church more or less had to threaten him for him to spend _any_ on himself, and even then he basically committed benevolent embezzlement as much as he could? This is the other side of that coin.
This guy has the same energy as a 6 year old telling his mom that it was his imaginary friend who ate the cookies.
He cleared his throat and fully said "God scammed us" with tears in his eyes lol bro I can't 😂
“Your honor, at this time I would like to call to the stand, Mr. Jesus H. Christ to discuss the 10x miracle he promised us.”
I’ve also named the schizophrenic voice in my head “God” and “The Lord”.
Making god look bad is not what you should do to make yourself look credible. Using god as a tool for your personal gain in general is pretty terrible
That is why I do all my charitable things personally
