It’s a weird thing with Yakuza 3, the higher the difficulty the less damage heat action do. He’s playing on legend so the heat actions do almost nothing.
@Good Hunter that’s a major issue I have with the dragon engine games, they are WAY too easy to get overpowered. In lost judgment for example Ex-Action can do nearly 2 full bars of damage.

And here you are doing it with style and lots of really cool moments, like tiger drop sync 4:14, sticks special move 2:43 and variety of heat actions. I don't know how many attempts it took you, but god you did it, especially with PC quickstep lol. It's just really amazing!

Ah yes the bonus clip, the thing I tried to replicate when I got myself to Amon and then gave up on because multiplayer group peer pressure is a real thing.
Lol I accidentally stumbled upon that Tiger Drop spam method in the bonus section on my playthrough. If you drop him once and he does that recovery attack, it doesn’t take much problem solving to realize you can just drop that attack again, especially since the timing is so straightforward and it’s so telegraphed. Anyway I was laughing my ass off, took out like two health bars in 15 seconds. Btw just getting to that point took me multiple tries, he was fucking me up good
Honestly getting to Amon on hard or legend is more difficult than actually fighting him, you can get locked out of certain sub stories if you miss them on the chapters they appear in
I'm not even complaining even if you got small amount of damage when tiger dropping. It's a fight that restricts what you can use so badly that without some of the fancy stuff being performed here it'd be boring to watch and tedious to play.
Not sure if you can use this strategy on harder difficulties but I equipped the rage set and just tanked through his attacks until the second phase. I then combined that with tiger drops until dead. Got him on my first try with little to no effort.

Quick question, is this first play through or 2nd play through? Reason i'm asking, i'm in Chapter 10, somehow my level is not that high for all specs? How do you gain more exp to level up Kiryu's heat gauge & health?
Man this fight is just utter bullshit he has bombs etc. Even i think you rage quited a couple times cause of this since you basically do no damage, amazing that you could keep going since you do basically no damage and he has a fucking huge hp bar godly no damage
If this is considered the most hated Amon fight in the series i have no idea which universe those people are from, because Amon Clan from 5 is by far much, much worse, especially Shinada's part. Good Flex Vid, though the severely repeated wall heat actions disappointed and bored me a bit, took out a bit from the style points overall imo.
@@harper1587 The worst thing is that if you successfully defeat him... you are not even out of the woods yet, because Jo coming right after is still a bullshit maker, just like he always is, even if this time he's actually only the second most bullshit. It would've been most likely fine if not for Dragon Spirit which doesn't let you even hurt Jo, so you have to either run away or pop into your own Dragon Spirit. And Jo REALLY loved to almost constantly stay in Dragon Spirit during my attempts, with barely anytime to hit him inbetween. So this fight also drags for a long, long time.
@@tipsyConfection Jo amon is just a Sosuke Komaki with more health bars, and I hate that because he casually tiger drops if you just happened to breathe close to him, at least you have more approaches, still not as bs as Jiro Amon in 4 and k2
@@harper1587 exactly, though i actually had zero problems with all Amons in 4, the easiest fights by far in the series. Had no problems with Kiwami 2 as well, did it first try.
