Imagine goku tries to blast him with the kamehameha and kiryu just tiger drops continously, getting closer inch by inch with every tiger drop, and when he gets in point blank range he lands the final tiger drop, hits a godspeed combo and finishes it off with the essence of 88' from yakuza 0. or maybe goku just kicks his ass but majima pulls up and completely mauls goku for touching his beloved kiryu chan

I think the most "right leaning" entry in the series is 3 because of the Okinawa redevelopment plot. The series as a whole tries to redefine masculinity in the same way Metal Gear does. Kiryu's whole character is being a badass man who takes the typical feminine household roles and mindset because he simply enjoys it. 5:55 actually, something that most people don't take into account, in Kiwami, Kiryu has an ability (I forget the name of it, it's one of the first Komaki abilities though) that makes him more powerful the stronger his foe is. So, facing off against someone like Goku, Kiryu would simply just become as strong as him, if not even stronger, because of that ability.

There's usually a cooldown on the tiger drop so a "beam struggle" wouldn't be possible where he keeps spamming it as the blast goes off. He's gonna get hit by Kamehameha if he tiger drops the first "wave" or hit or whatever since the cool down in the tiger drop animation leaves Kirty vulnerable for a hit. Majima's spins in the video wouldn't connect with Kiryu anyways so that's why you can keep spamming the tiger drop cause you're both whiffing. I do think if Kiryu tiger drops Goku at point blank then he would interrupt the Kamehameha. I just don't think Kiryu can do much within a longer distance with a tiger drop. Edit// I heavily recommend watching SnowiestAngeman's video on the tiger drop as he goes into every single game and reveal which games actually negate all damage and how the tiger drop works against a variety of things.

It doesnt even negate damage bro, it gives him a hyper armor, and its just gameplay mechanic not any lore thing that SAYS "He cannot be attacked by anything in the attack" its just a move in the game that gives you a hyper armor regating damage for the counter to work properly. So i dont know if you're joking or just spewing shit but hey its not a lore thing its just A GAMEPLAY THING, by giving you a counter the game gives you a way to retaliate but the counter needs to be strong so you have it, they gave it a hyper armor in game so that you can safely walk up to the enemy and tiger drop the hit without being attacked, but again the fact that he is in hyper armor invulnerability is just a gameplay mechanic and feature, i dont like to be the guy that says the truth in all that but i dont know if you're really serious about it whereas kiryu nearly never used it in cinematic and his feats was on the human powersless level, he can be severed by a human and get damaged by a bullet in lore so yeah he is one strong guy in lore but FOR HUMANS, again it sadden me to see one of my favorite franchise and character kiryu getting only known for "HEY YO ! Lore-wise, Tiger Drop doesn’t negate all damage (just a game mechanic) but it actually targets the opponent’s vitals. If Goku has his guard down and takes a liver shot from a guy who hits harder than a warhead, I think he’s gonna feel it.
