All of you that are complaining about her outfit need to keep your trap shut. She can wear WHATEVER makes her feel strong and beautiful. None of you are paying a dime to her for the information she is freely giving you. I have learned A LOT throughout college from this highly intelligent, classy, amazing nurse. If her outfit distracts you THAT much then go find someone else to watch...but why comment negatively towards someone just trying to help you understand concepts and terms that could help you be better at what you do in life. She does a great job breaking it down and Im thankful for the time she and her team put into this video. It's helped a ton!
Yeah she would be classy.. IF she dressed appropriately to teach people nursing material!! 😂😂 And she’s especially classy at the end where she’s dancing like she’s in the club Lol
I am a Nurse Educator and just wanted you to know you did an excellent job explaining beta blockers with animation. I hope you are advancing your career as an RN. Great job and good luck!
I'm a third year med student and my pharmacology exam is in 2 days. I've read this chapter over and over and it just words, not structured and all over the place. Thank you for explaining this so simply and clearly.
Minna Satu Hi Minna! I'm glad to hear from you. I hope this video will help you out a lot on your coming exam. I wish you all the best and go for the gold! I know you can nail it! -xoxo
WOW...this video is so helpful. I am a first time nursing student about to take Pharmacology, and watching my ATI videos doesn't really deeply explain what beta blockers do. I like the animation part explaining what beta blockers really do. THANK YOU.
Hello there, I am a heart attack survivor and I am writing a book about my experience. I have found the information shared in this video invaluable! Thank you for being sensitive to the need for videos like this; you give a wonderful presentation! Thank you!
This RN had done a wonderful job putting this video together. And you judge her by what she is wearing? I give her a credit for working hard and looking amazing.
This video is so well done! I have been out of nursing for 12 years and am doing a RN refresher course- between nursing school back in the day and the refresher course I know I don't feel confident about my understanding of cardiac meds. You've done a great job in simplifying the info- its comprehensive, but clear . Thanks! (and my future patients thank you, too!)
+Anne R Hi Anne! Thank you so much for the sweet compliment!! I really appreciate it :) Make sure you look at our other topics! If you look at this page it's a bit more organized: empowern.com/educational-videos-resources/ Looking forward to seeing you on here again very soon! Much love, = Caroline

Geez i wish i would have seen this a year ago when I took Pharm and A&P! I just got accepted into the nursing program and classes start next week, trying to brush up on everything i've forgotten. You did a great job of explaining it! The music was a little distracting but I watched several times & got it :) thanks!
+Megan Grimsley H Megan! Thanks so much for letting me know that you liked the video! Now, I'm creating 2 versions of all videos, with music & without :) I hope you come back & watch more!! Looking forward to hearing from you again very soon! xoxo - Caroline
Clear and concise presentation. Questions and answers at the end of this presentation I enjoyed the most. You can stop at any time , figure out your own answer and check how clever you are at the end. More Q&A please.
John Martin Alde Hi John! wow that's way to far. But I'm glad I meet you here. Thank you very much for letting me know you like the video. I do hope this will help you out a lot.! Send my kisses to the Philippines. Can't wait to hear from you again. -xoxo
Although your main focus was for RNs, know that the layout and completeness, coupled with an amazingly easy to understand outline of the drug class makes it an excellent tool for medical students like me on their final year rotations. Thank you very much, you've made it a breeze for us to explain it to our patients and evil attendings who cannot wait to pimp us. Awesome refresher!!!
Rafik Abdul Hi Rafik! Thank you for letting me know. I really appreciate it. My team and I are doing our best to deliver it as simple and understandable as possible. So I'm glad it worked for you. Keep in touch! -xoxo

I want to learn so her outfit wasn't a distraction, and was able to grasp what she was teaching. Since I have no medical experience, and need to learn this stuff I would watch again. She is a handsome lady and was dressed pretty.
this video is very helpful. I'm a Pharmacy student and i have to present BetaBlockers infront of the class i read many journals about BetaBlockers anf i dont understand it but this video really helped me to understand it. Thank You so much. more powers!!:)
Who cares about the way she dresses! I think it's gorgeous. Regardless, this is one of the MOST helpful videos I came across on youtube on beta blockers. Thank you so much!
Hello, great video it was informative and very helpful. I probably learned more in your one video than in the 5 weeks I have been in class. I will continue to watch your other videos and share them with my class. My only suggestion is I would like to see you in scrubs vs the cute dresses. Other than that thank you for the videos they really help.
D Button Hi D! It is nice to hear from you! Thanks so much for letting me know that you liked the video! I really appreciate it! Looking forward to seeing you on here again very soon!! xoxo - Caroline
Mariuxi Arrieta Hi Mariuxi! I love your name. Thank you very much letting me know. I'm glad you love the questions. I hope you have learned a lot. Keep in touch! -xoxo!!
Excellent video. I learned more here than in class about beta blockers. Broken down very simply and easy to follow. Thanks! Also the dress looks great on you!
I love the videos. And I feel what is in a person's head and heart should have no reflection on what's on their body. She has both the passion and intellect to put these videos together to better educate the public. Who cares what she wears? We all wear what makes us feel and look good and that will never please everyone. One person's idea of what is acceptable in a situation will never be another person's idea. Come, learn, and then leave. You're not here to criticize.
I believe you are missing one point. Nursing is a humble and modest occupation. It's not glamorous or sexy. The way in which you present yourself is a huge part and if you present yourself in such a grossly promiscuous manner, it sends off the wrong(sexual) message. No one will take someone like that seriously or professionally. It's not criticism, it's just the truth. It just seems attention-seeking to parade around like that(which is an opinion, not truth per say). I never would have thought she is a nurse- more like ready to go to the club to get some dick. Sometimes people allow what "feels good" triumph over "what is good". There is a huge difference.
Hello, I just wanted to say this video was very helpful. I am a 31 year old who has returned to school after 7 years since I received my bachelors. For someone with a learning disability this kept me engaged and i liked the sample questions at the end! Maybe the music is a little distracting but I think this is overall great and hope you continue to make more videos. Great job!!
+olivia zangani Hi Olivia!! Awesome! Thanks so much for your encouraging comment!! Really looking forward to hearing from you in the future!! xoxo - Caroline
@EmpoweRN Thank you so much for this awesome clip. I was searching the internet attempting to learn how Beta Blockers affects the heart and after watching your video I have a better understanding.
Any video about tips for working in the NICU would be amazing! I also wanted to tell you that after watching your video about having a successful interview, I was offered the job of my dreams at my dream hospital! Your video boosted my confidence and helped me prepare more than I ever have before. Thanks again!
Kelsey Chase Oh wow that is awesome!! Thanks so much for sharing that with me!! I really appreciate it!! Congratulations on your new job & new life ;) Thanks for the video suggestion!! xoxo - Caroline
I've been watching your videos before and found them helpful but I've only seen you from the torso up. Now you have these great graphics and background music and I enjoy them. As well as seeing you in full height, your beautiful. Thanks for the change. Don't change a thing.
James Thompson Hi James! Thanks so much for letting me know! I will do my best to keep the videos coming!! Keep in touch & let me know if I can help with anything else!! Much Love, - Caroline
NuRse CaroLynn your video was great!! I am a nursing student. The way you explain the material is clear and energetic. The questions were great!! I got all 3 correct! =) A video on the Endocrine system would be nice. I know it's a huge topic! Looking forward to more videos! Thank u!
Alma Karina Huerta Hi Alma! It is Alma! It is really nice to hear from you! Thanks so much for letting me know what you need/want! And also thank you for letting me know that you liked the video :) That means a lot!! xoxo - Caroline
Miss kris Hi Kris! Thank you so much for the comment! I appreciate it so much! Looking forward to hearing from you again very soon! Much Love, - Caroline
Thank you EmpowerRN for this amazing video. I have been watching a lot of your videos for the few months being in the nursing program. It's really helping me! Thanks:) God Bless.
Maverick Canto Hi Maverick! It's nice to hear from you. I really appreciate it that you drop by to let me know. Words like yours is an inspiration for me and my team. More blessings to you. Keep in touch! -xoxo
smithgcw Hi Smith! Thanks a lot for letting me know this helps. It means a lot! makes all the effort worth it. I know you can do it! Nail those exam. :) Can't wait to hear from you again. -xoxo
Thanks for the video! It helped me understand a bit more about why I was just prescribed to take atenolol to help prevent issues from arising due to my BAVD.
The whole purpose here is HEART HEALTH...Success!!! the hair and face fixed my heart problems (excluding Broken Heart Syndrome) within the first minute of the presentation... Those complaining about the dress haven't had adequate education to figure out how to scroll the image out of sight and JUST LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE! I won't do that because I'm just not THAT stupid!
Guys the lady is a nurse she probably don’t even have time to pamper herself, just be grateful of her doing that, and stop seen the negative side of it. I k own guys are thankful for it but I’m just saying she’s a human, so with her reading these comments it will make her sensitive, shes already sensitive at the hospital she doesn’t need it from RUclips
+Lexie Le Hi Lexie! So glad to see you here. Thanks for letting me know it helped. I do hope to see you on here again soon. It will be my pleasure. -xoxo
I think it would be so helpful to do a video on how to survive your first year of nursing. If there are any tips or tricks on how to organize your day, giving report, making mistakes, nurse bullying in the workplace, etc. Thank you for your videos! Its been nice to freshen up on material as a new grad nurse!
Hi Maria! It is nice to hear from you! I'm happy to report that I have a ton of videos for new grads!! Here is the playlist link: ruclips.net/p/PLlBYNT9od8CWYgBFp8wuNY9DS_-524Ayx If you don't see what you were looking for though... please let me know!! I hope all of this helps!! 😘😘 - Caroline
nice video caroline you always have a way of explaining that makes things seem easy. don't pay attention to the negative comments your dress is beautiful.
I tried to stay neutral and not care about what she was wearing because I thought I could look past it. But once I got further into the video and she was like... Gesturing to the bullet points I seriously thought it was like watching those models at car shows. So.... Back to my main man at simplenursing haha.
Hi, Caroline. Your videos are truly informative for every nurses specially to those who aspire to be one of us. Btw, Ive watched all your vids regarding anti hypertensive medications. -Ace Inhibitos, -ARBS, -BetaBlockers -CaChannelBlockers. However, Im still looking for other classifications of anti hypertnsives, such as Alpha Blockers, Central Acting Symptholitc/Adrenergic Blockers and Direct Acting Vasodilators. Im hoping you could do educatioonal vids for these drugs as well! Thank you and more power!
+Mark Lou Hilario Hi Mark! Thank you so much for watching the videos! I'm so glad that you have enjoyed them so far!! I just placed both of those video request on the list!! Unfortunately... my videos take a pretty long time to make... but I will have them for you as soon as it is possible :D Again, thank you for the compliments & for the request!! Also, if you have any more request... please let me know! It helps for me to know what you need! But do me a favor & always post a new comment (as opposed to replying to this one) it is hard for me to see replies, but easy to see new comments :) xoxo - Caroline
Thanks for this video! I do have a question though, when we decrease the 'need' for oxygen in the heart, are we decreasing the amount of oxygen throughout the body? And if the answer is yes, how is that therapeutic? Decreasing oxygen throughout the body I mean. Look forward to hearing from you!
Katherine Sidhu When the heart is beating too fast, it is not getting enough oxygen... slowing the heart rate will allow "proper" oxygenation. This is only in cases where the heart is not functioning properly & it is causing disease. A healthy heart would not need to be slowed. Sometimes you have pt.s with weak hearts that have sort of improper signals making it beat way too fast.... does this make sense??? xoxo!!
Hi Caroline, First, you look stunning! This is definitely the best i've watched on Beta blockers. Explicit. Detailed. Fun to watch. I'm a Medical student in Kenya and is soo need more on AnteRitroViral agents and Cholinolytics. Looking forward to this. only 3 so far?
sidney remah HI Sidney! Thanks a lot for letting me know. It means a lot. I will write your request on my list and hopefully soon will be able to do a video of that. Thanks a lot. Can't wait to see you here again. xoxo!!
I love your videos and it made it so easy to get the full understanding of the drug. I would really appreciate if you could do other videos on d other antihypertensive drugs, diabetic drugs and other common drug classes. Please. In addition I love your motivation video, I was about to give on my finale yr of nursing school but it gave me hope. Thanks alot.
jamaicancollegegirl you are so welcome. I'm glad you like the videos. Thank you for your suggestions! looking forward to make more videos that would cover your requests. Keep in touch.. Much Love!!
Your videos are pretty informative, but Damb!! How in gods name am I supposed to focus when you are walking across my screen looking better then Miss America. I had to watch your video 5 times just to retain the information. Keep it up on the info, it helps to get as much information as possible. Mike
mike laria Hi Mike, thanks for the comment. I learned my lesson, definitely going to tone it down for future videos. I do appreciate your input & I hope you continue to watch the videos!! Much Love, - Caroline
Of course I will continue to watch your highly knowledgeable videos. You are very beautiful and your husband is extremely lucky man. To have beauty and brains is very impressive. Enjoy your weekend. Sincerely, Mike Laria
And one more thing... I've seen nurses make their own SBAR/report sheets to help them stay organized with the new pts they're taking on. Do you have one that works best for you?
Kelsey Chase Hi Kelsey! Sure, there is not one perfect way... & over time you will find what works for you. Here is a video where I talk about the report sheet that I use... & below the video you can download it!! ruclips.net/video/4AsV_4Y5xyI/видео.html I hope you love it :) xoxo - Caroline
Nice video Caroline, we appreciate the effort put into it! I'm just starting out in Fundamentals, but it's good to become familiar with these terms. Thank you! :)
missykim9 Hi Missy! Thanks so much for letting me know that you all like them :) I really appreciate it!! Awesome, hopefully by the time you do start Pharm, you will have a little heads up :) Looking forward to seeing you on here again soon!! Much Love, - Caroline
Nurse I'm impressed, I look forward to being a nurse too. :) Thank you for sending the inspiring emails, I've really enjoyed them and other videos from them.
06:45 Not all ST elevation is a myocardial infarction. Look out for imposters that mimic AMI ; like Left ventricular hypertrophy, Left bundle branch blocks, early ventricular repolarization, ventricular pacemakers and hyperkalemia. If u wanna get really good at diagnosing Myocardial infarctions in the presence of LBBB and Vent. Pacemakers , look up the sgcarbossa criteria.
Thank you for putting so much time and effort into your videos! I learn so much with each video and I like how it's easy to follow and provides a great overview if each topic. I'm glad this one focused on one class of drugs. I appreciate the additional resources you have provided as well! Keep up the great work! A video suggestion I have would be more pathophysiology on certain nervous system or hormone disorders?
dorkyxana Thank you so much for the comment & letting me know!! I really appreciate it!! Looking forward to seeing you on here again soon!! Much Love, - Caroline
I took beta blockers last May, misdiagnosed hypertension. I only took them for 30 days, ever since then my life has literally fallen apart. They triggered some type of chronic fatigue and insomnia. Have you heard of them having such a long effect like this?
I think you should get with Audible to create a "book" of all of the pharmacology lessons that you have developed. It would be cool for me to have a way to listen to these over and over on my long rives to and from class.
I was wondering if by an chance you would be able to put questions from all the different tutorials into one NCLEX review. It's kind of easy to figure out the write answer when they are under on category once you've watched the videos a few times and practice the question a few times. Don't get me wrong I find the videos and questions super helpful but mixing it up would be more changing, like a next level. Thank you so much and I apprentice all the hard work that you put into making these wonderful, informative videos.
i just came across your page. i love it! i apologize if you already have a video on this but can you do a video on sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system and what happens in each area of the body such as eyes gi heart etc? and then give examples of drugs and how they effect it specifically atropine? thank you!
You know what!! I'm actually working on that!! It's a few months away from being brought to life though :( sorry, my videos just take forever.... Keep the request going!! xoxo - Caroline
Jess〈3 Hi Jess!! You are too sweet!! I'm so sorry it has been a while... I am planning on some really good videos though!! I honestly think it will be worth the wait ;) Looking forward to seeing you again soon!!! xoxo - Caroline
HOT DAMN!!! She can be my Pharmacology instructor any time!!! Although I don't know how much of it I will remember afterwards, and I'm sure that, by the end of the course, I'll be on Metaprolol tartrate or Metyldopa...
Would you find it possibly best to use a beta-blocker for social anxiety, if the person is a sexual trauma survivor and needs to lower adrenaline sometimes? Some doctors suggest various anti-depressants which work on either all of the neurotransmitters or just GABA or Serotonin. What if the cause is just fear and the root is only adrenaline?? Trauma can get cured by natural treatment, changing your way of life, but I am talking about preventing the unwanted reactions meanwhile.
Thanks for making this video, I loved the video and all the added features! I also like how you have the questions at the end of the video and you go through the answer and rationalize. Could you make a video about diuretics (lasix, thiazides, spironolactone)? Thank You!
Stephanie Saturne Hi Stephanie!! Thank you so much for letting me know!! I have added diuretics to the future video list ;) thank you for the suggestion!! Looking forward to seeing you on here again soon!! Much Love, - Caroline
your videos are very informative and easy to learn from. can you do a video showing us how to recover an immediate post-op heart surgery patient? i am wanting to see a little about the cardiac drips and how they work together or against each other while the patient is still intubated with a swan in place. i can't find anything like that on youtube. i know my cardiac drips but when there is more than 1 or 2 going at the same time i get lost in the cardiac soup. thanks for listening to our requests.
Mark De Pedro Hi Mark! I'm working on it, actually the whole DM thing. Keep checking my new video posted because it will be out soon. Thank you. Keep in touch! -xoxo
You are wonderful!!! and its so so cool that you do these videos for people. Your information is fantastic, and well researched, you seem like a great nurse AND you are a beautiful woman, however, unfortunately because I'm so distracted by your dress and your lovliness I can't focus on what you're saying at all and I actually have to just listen to your video, which sucks because I love the special effects you do. Maybe you could find a happy medium and do more low key but still lovely outfits. I'm not hating, I think you're so great. Just a suggestion because otherwise I love your videos. It's incredible that you take the time to put these together and post these. Thank you!

Any video about tips for working in the NICU would be amazing!

Thanks for the video! It helped me understand a bit more about why I was just prescribed to take atenolol to help prevent issues from arising due to my BAVD.
I forgot you had all these pharmacology videos! Thank you so much! I definitely need these for review.
Awesome awesome awesome! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Sounds more like me teacher who is a doctors but u make it more simpler 🤗
Thanks so letting me know!!
xoxo!
Your videos are very informative. Thanks.
Love the videos and your cheery personality. Slightly hard to focus because she is so pretty. :) Very informative without being too technical.

+Lexie Le

I think it would be so helpful to do a video on how to survive your first year of nursing. If there are any tips or tricks on how to organize your day, giving report, making mistakes, nurse bullying in the workplace, etc.
Thank you for your videos! Its been nice to freshen up on material as a new grad nurse!
Hi Maria! It is nice to hear from you! I'm happy to report that I have a ton of videos for new grads!! Here is the playlist link: ruclips.net/p/PLlBYNT9od8CWYgBFp8wuNY9DS_-524Ayx

Gerri De Alba Hi Gerri! Definitely, keep posted for there are more coming. See you soon again here. -xoxo!!
nice video caroline you always have a way of explaining that makes things seem easy. don't pay attention to the negative comments your dress is beautiful.
I tried to stay neutral and not care about what she was wearing because I thought I could look past it. But once I got further into the video and she was like... Gesturing to the bullet points I seriously thought it was like watching those models at car shows. So.... Back to my main man at simplenursing haha.
haha I know it like takes her credibility away
You should take Beta Blockers before watching this video LOL. Great video, detailed info on Beta Blockers.
Beautifully empowering ! Thanks
This video is verry helpful to medical and nursing people.

Unfortunately... my videos take a pretty long time to make... but I will have them for you as soon as it is possible :D
Again, thank you for the compliments & for the request!!
Also, if you have any more request... please let me know! It helps for me to know what you need!
But do me a favor & always post a new comment (as opposed to replying to this one) it is hard for me to see replies, but easy to see new comments :)

Sometimes you have pt.s with weak hearts that have sort of improper signals making it beat way too fast.... does this make sense???
xoxo!!
Well, you weren't boring that's for sure lol. Also, I finally understand beta blockers! Subscribed in 3,2,1...
+lilred1 ! Thanks so much for letting me know that you liked the video!! And for subscribing ❤️

& below the video you can download it!! ruclips.net/video/4AsV_4Y5xyI/видео.html
I hope you love it :)

Does 25mg of metoprolol effect potassium that much I'm a little scared I don't want my potassium high?
Thank you for putting so much time and effort into your videos! I learn so much with each video and I like how it's easy to follow and provides a great overview if each topic. I'm glad this one focused on one class of drugs. I appreciate the additional resources you have provided as well! Keep up the great work!
A video suggestion I have would be more pathophysiology on certain nervous system or hormone disorders?
dorkyxana Thank you so much for the comment & letting me know!!
I really appreciate it!!
Looking forward to seeing you on here again soon!!
Much Love,
- Caroline
I took beta blockers last May, misdiagnosed hypertension. I only took them for 30 days, ever since then my life has literally fallen apart. They triggered some type of chronic fatigue and insomnia. Have you heard of them having such a long effect like this?
this was very helpful. a video on anticholinesterases would really help alot also.
Taleni Pea Hi Taleni! I will keep it on my list. Thank you for the request. Keep in touch! -xoxo
I think you should get with Audible to create a "book" of all of the pharmacology lessons that you have developed. It would be cool for me to have a way to listen to these over and over on my long rives to and from class.
+Lucylyn Sinette Convert the audio to an .mp3 and then download it to an iPod or phone.
This helped me understand sooo much better!!! Thank you so, so much!!!
+Evelyn Heredia
You're so welcome.
Keep posted for more.
See you.
-xoxo
i just came across your page. i love it! i apologize if you already have a video on this but can you do a video on sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system and what happens in each area of the body such as eyes gi heart etc? and then give examples of drugs and how they effect it specifically atropine? thank you!
You know what!!
I'm actually working on that!!
It's a few months away from being brought to life though :( sorry, my videos just take forever....
Keep the request going!!
xoxo
- Caroline

I LIKED THIS VIDEO,HAS HELP ALOT IN MY CARRIER
Emmanuel B Sahani Awesome! Thank you a lot for letting me know. I really appreciate it! I hope to see you again here soon. xoxo!!
HOT DAMN!!! She can be my Pharmacology instructor any time!!! Although I don't know how much of it I will remember afterwards, and I'm sure that, by the end of the course, I'll be on Metaprolol tartrate or Metyldopa...
this is great info! thanks..do you have any on SSRI's?
Great video, thanks for such an excellent explanation!!!
Much Love,
- Caroline
The music is too load, I struggle to hear the voice.
your videos are very informative and easy to learn from. can you do a video showing us how to recover an immediate post-op heart surgery patient? i am wanting to see a little about the cardiac drips and how they work together or against each other while the patient is still intubated with a swan in place. i can't find anything like that on youtube. i know my cardiac drips but when there is more than 1 or 2 going at the same time i get lost in the cardiac soup. thanks for listening to our requests.
Thank you for the information! I'm on Bystolic, so this was helpful.
thanks for this video. could you possibly do a video on insulin drips and management of a dka patient? thanks!
Thank you!
Please, can you find a beta blocker drug doesn't have "lol" in its end??
The lecture is very useful and great, thank you💝
