This man is amazing, I remember booting up Hitman 2 for the first time and spending most of that time in the menu just listening to the music. He's music is always changing and always amazing from the epic Freedom Fighters to what he's doing now in the Assassin's Creed games. I hope Square-enix won't ditch him for the IO's next Hitman game, it just wouldn't be Hitman without Jesper Kyd doing the music.

The thing that makes this a great game series is that they make sure everything is of good great quality. The game play and concept are perfect. The music is great and can be a stand alone product. The great thing is that you feel it. The music, the character, they become one.

Jesper Kid has been composing computer music for years. He was an active member in the Amiga demo scene back in the 1990's, and wrote the music for the 'Sound of Silents' scene demo that was programmed by the Silents Demo Group. I think he did the music for Crionic's 'Hard Wired' Amiga demo too...
the Producers of the Hitman movie said they were talking to Jesper Kyd about the music's rights. If they get them they will have the music based on his. The trailer's music is ave maria so looks like they got it. I dont know if he is working directly in the movie though.

@Uncharted2 Jesper Kyd is a freaking genius! His music for Assassin Creed 2 and Brotherhood gave me a soundtrack for my regular life as I imagine I am Ezio walking among the crowds of New York City. Going down to the South Street Seaport listening to I Dream of Venice is now my way of relaxing. Can't wait for AC: Revelations.

Silent Assassin has the best soundtrack of all hitman series. Hitman Contracts messed up with the dark electronica soundtrack, no emotions in them whatsoever. Silent Assassin OST turned the game into EPIC!
How does one compose symphonic music is my question out of this, is it merely writing notes or is there an overarching structure in the process. My business is filmmaking but the creation of sound is one of the facets that interest me in the bigger picture.

I like the music in Unreal games, but I think Hitman Blood Money soundtrack is just a masterpiece.
Silents made some of the best demo's around, alongside other legends such as Spaceballs, Kefrens and Fairlight.
