  • Back arthritis is often seen as a doomsday diagnosis by people and their doctors. Doctors often tell their patients that they’ll “eventually need surgery”, and “it’s just a matter of time” because it’s an “age-related problem.”
    Once healthcare providers show their patients the x-rays or MRIs of the their lower backs and tell them they have things like, “facet arthropathy,” “lumbar osteoarthritis,” “facet arthritis” or “facet osteoarthritis” (these are all medical terms used for back arthritis) they don’t have much to offer to fix this. Doctors are best trained in offering medications and recommending surgery.
    We refuse this! In more than 9 out of 10 cases of lower back arthritis, it is possible to get more mobility, reduce pain, and return to normal again!

    ❤ thank you I have back arthritis in addition to 4 bulging discs which two are herniated experiencing burning pain in the lower spine are these exercises okay for the herniations?

    Thanks for these exercises. I have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis. I’m going to try these and see if it helps me. My pain is in my lower spine. When I get up out of a chair, it hurts in my very low spine and at the base of my spine, it always feels swollen. I do walk with my dog 3 times a day, sometimes 4 depending on the weather. Not long walks, just about a few blocks. I use to be able to walk 2 miles a day. I think it’s just getting worse and my mobility is suffering. So hope this is going to help me. My posture is also really bad, which probably doesn’t help either.

      My dear the best advice I can give you coming from someone that has arthritis and back pain for seven years due to a car accident. 1. If you smoke quit smoking causes an inflammatory state within the body therefore increasing your pain. 2. Change your diet get rid of the ultra highly processed carbs and added sugars, get rid of white bread, white rice, white pasta, white potatoes, no sugar at all unless it's a natural sugar with fiber like fruits. Again carbs and sugar cause an inflammatory state within the body. 3. Do the exercises recommended in this video and also concentrate on doing exercises to strengthen the glutes and hips. Once I started doing glute exercises to strengthen my glutes and also stretches to open up my tight hips wow what a life changer! If you didn't know sitting behind a desk at an office job or if you drive a lot kills your lower back and causes the hips to shorten therefore causing back pain.       @@bballah9969 Thank you. I’m 74, 75 in June. I haven’t exercised much because I’m afraid that I will break something. I have changed my diet some because I have Celiac Disease. I do eat too much sugar and snacks. Got to change more. It’s hard, but I’m determined. My husband is 86, 87 in July. He’s in better shape than I am and even broke his hip a year and a half ago. Much more active than I am.
