Upon unboxing and washing we noticed a problem with the vessel where it has plastic on one end that traps water. We had concerns about slushi getting stuck in this area, and it did. It takes quite a bit of work to clean that area and it doesn't fully dry because the plastic is so close together.
We did call Ninja and they said this is a defect, but they do not have vessel or the Ninja Slushi in stock. The Ninja Slushi has been in and out of stock so we haven't gotten a replacement as of yet.
We DO like this machine, but truly hope it's a defect on our vessel and not a design flaw.
Other than that issue, it's amazing. We love the consistency of the slush and we had it running for a few hours to see how it would hold the consistency. It did really well! We can't wait to entertain with this and enjoy it as a family once we get our replacement vessel.
