@@michellezaborowski7621 i think what this means (in my opinion!) is that even if God presents someone that appears to be the person meant for you, but the time doesn’t align with Gods purpose, then it’s a sign that it truly isn’t the one God has destined for you.

I needed this! I prayed about this three days ago! I asked the Lord to help me with the desire of finding my husband because I felt it was consuming me. I prayed for a strengthened relationship with Him and becoming the woman I am meant to be and a better woman for myself and my future husband. I can’t expect all of these things of my husband and not hold the same expectation for myself! This video only sent confirmation! Love this series!

3:49 Yes!!! I was in my late 20’s when I started getting serious about my relationship with God. Now, at 31 singleness is a struggle. I was never someone who dated a lot. I’ve truly been trying to follow the advice of growing in character and using this time to do things like traveling, but it still gets discouraging sometimes...
I hear you! Will be 31 this year, never dated, never was in a relationship, and now am really working on making me the best me there is.
Tori and Chad's videos have really been an inspiration for me, and give me hope that this (long) season of singleness will prepare us for a lasting relationship

I love the honest tone of the entire message since so often being single is seen by others and even ourselves as such a negative thing.
I do feel like we need to all be careful about the whole "law of attraction" thing though because fundamentally that's more manifestation minded/ New age than it is Biblical. I'm sure you didn't mean it that way but it's worth mentioning.

Thank you for mentioning that because the actual Law of Attraction is spiritually dangerous. I know the way they meant it, but it’s good to be mindful about using that phrase cuz we don’t want people confusing that with following Christ. But God leads us the right way no matter what so this video is definitely still a blessing to others🙏🏾❤️

“Run your feelings through truth.” So true! Our feelings will try to override the truth of God’s Word, but we have to filter it through the truth to make sure we’re thinking clearly.

I'm sitting here balling after just watching this video bc it has so specifically touched my heart on things I'm struggling with right now. There are so many thoughts that you sweet ladies shared that I feel like were absolutely made for me at this very moment, unbelievably enough, even though it's been a year since you made this video. Tori I just have to say thank you for what you're doing and what you've done. I've just recently become a subscriber and am so grateful for the content you share. I don't have much Christian community where I am and it's been encouraging to know there are people like you all out there, I just have to do a little digging to find them (honestly wish I could virtually meet/talk to you all sometime, if that could ever be possible). I know God works in incredible ways and through incredible people like you. Many blessings to you and the sweet ministry that you and Chad have.

watching this video again, about 3 months later and it’s hitting differently. love love love this. God has transformed me in ways I would’ve never imagined in this season of singleness. last year was a year of pruning, God released from chains I’ve been bound to and emotional soul ties I was bound to along with having an identity crisis (i didn’t even realize i had) I’ve been consistently spending the very first hour or two every morning reading the thrive bible and letting the Holy Spirit transform me. I’ve a always had an issue with being consistent with spending time with Jesus but since I’ve had, the fruit of the spirit has never been so present up until now. I can see how Jesus is transforming me into the woman He’s called me to become. I’m also taking steps to honor my future husband by creating boundaries with other men in my life.

You should make a video about boundaries in the predating phase. For instance I have a feeling that I should not even entertain to communicate with a man who is not prepared to pursue me with intention. There was a guy I have been talking to But I have sensed that all he’s really wanting is to be buddy penpals, So I think to myself “why should I even give my time to talk to this guy if I am looking for the man who will pursue” But people tell me I’m driving to heart of the line and I need to be more open. What do you think?
Be intentional with the guy. Just state what you want. If he doesn’t agree, then he is not the best fit for you

Thank you for the video, so many great points!!❤ There is just one thing I stumbled upon and that's the law of attraction. It's an esoteric concept/ practice and not biblical at all, maybe you should do some more research on this to make sure you don't promote something that is not in line with scripture...
I really enjoy watching lots of videos on your channel. I am not Christian but I have always believed in Jesus and God and label myself as spiritual.
I am interested in a lovely Christian guy... yet to talk to him about our beliefs. I agree with a lot of things Christians believe but not all... I also hold some beliefs which some Christians may not agree with.
One thing I disagree with is that people need to both share the same faith in order to have a successful marriage or relationship. Many people manage to have great interfaith relationships. We simply need to notice and respect one anothers different views but focus/build on our common values and beliefs.
Our different views can be a strength... so long as the love and respect is there and we are on the same wavelength... that's all that really matters. I hope that the Christian guy I like will see things this way too but if not, he won't be the one for me then and that's ok. Time will tell 🙂
It can be disappointing because you could meet a man that’s interested but you don’t know if their a man of God or not so it’s hard to get excited lol
It's just frustrating when I want to pursue my calling and purpose, but I feel like I'm stuck somewhere I don't want to be in the present. Living in a place that I don't love, with no one I'm interested in dating in sight... I don't even know what it means when people say to build a relationship with God first because I don't know how to do that.
When I first became a Christian, I read the bible a lot to get to know God more. Through a friend, I found a church that I joined that preached the bible. So I would encourage you to read the bible, pray , and find a church where you feel welcome, that preaches Gods Word. ❤😊
