When Chad said "Don't rush." It hit me because I am now, and something in my stomach knows it's wrong. And I love Tori's saying: " Nothing is more attractive than a person who is living their lives to the fullest and loves the Lord." I feel like even Chad shared about his mistakes, but it is ended strongly by Tori. I can see how Chad put a lot of his effort into the content and it's so good. It's smooth, detail and understandable. I also like when he gave the examples to be easy for viewers to understand and relate. I read the description and feel it so relate to myself, too. Thanks for sharing! Double mindedness- I was guilty of this too🖐🏼. I have never been a settler, but it was an idol for me as well and the Holy Spirit had to reveal this to me. Now I am genuinely not only content but loving my singleness from a new perspective in Christ. I am sooo grateful to the Lord that He brought me to this place before marriage.

As a cross country and half marathon runner for six years, I like this metaphor: (that I just thought of!) I spend months training for specific races. I train my lungs, my mind, my legs, and my arms. I eat healthy and make sure I reach and maintain hydration. I do all of this to be able to preform {the best} when race season begins. However, when I haven't adequately trained, my races are terrible! In the same manner, use your singleness to prepare your character, finances, relationships (with God and family especially), and experiences (traveling, for example)!! (Use the time beforehand to make that experience/new way of life the best it can be!)
That is such an amazing way to look at it! Preparing yourself for a relationship is definitely important. Another thing that I like to say is be the person that you want to marry. So if you want someone who is a hard worker, be a hard worker. Or if you want a spirtual/ religious spouse, then work on your own relationship with God first. You usually attract the people with those qualities that you have for yourself.
I loved chads little ramble in the description box! definitely eye opening and checking where our hearts are wether that be in Christ or in our own selfish desires is something we should be challenging ourselves with on a regular basis and as Christians we always need to make sure we align ourselves back to god even if we fell off the path a little :)

Meaning for those who’ve not experienced the being “lost” can and should learn from those who’ve been there and been brought out of it. I became a christian from a VERY EARLY age and the only problem with i see with 'don't rush' is you may get too comfortable enjoying beeing single and leaving such things in 'God's hands'/'timing' as the right thing to do (and it probably is). That said, 25 years later still i'm single and I feel I have given up (or denied) all chance of family etc becasue I got so comfortable traveling the world, pursing career etc. Only now am I starting to regret things after i gave up pursing a relationship or two in my late 20's that I may have had (even though they were probably wrong for me). On the other hand I have had to watch literally every freind I've had get married have kids (or not) only to get divorced etc. I have no real 'soul ties' to speak of and not sure i even want one any more but i cant help but wonder how things might have been different had different choices been made earlier on.
Honey I don’t think that’s true because God usually meets you wherever you are so long as you’re with him, he will never leave you or forsake you, he knows the desires of your heart! and there may be a purpose or reason behind your singleness which only God can really know the plans behind, his way is the best way. And God orchestrates everything perfectly and strategically! Make sure you’re ready for your spouse and fulfilled with Christ and I would suggest you keep praying for your future spouse and don’t give up hope!! Also you’re still really young!! Xx

To be honest with you, models are some of the most insecure people I've met... We get picked a part for everything little detail about us... I know it sounds backwards but it's true. lol. Also, when you are paid for your "looks" and you go into a casting and see all these "good looking" people in the same room, you start to compare yourself non stop, and then when you don't get the job which is like 98% of the time, you wonder what is wrong with you... Got out of a lousy situation with someone who was an easy pick at the time. Honestly one of the worst situations of my life. Couldn't get out no matter what. It finally ended in a big way. Still living in the same town as this person, don't know my next route. But I stay listened up to yourselves and others to not let that happen again.

Got out of a lousy situation with someone who was an easy pick at the time. Honestly one of the worst situations of my life. Couldn't get out no matter what. It finally ended in a big way. Still living in the same town as this person, don't know my next route. But I stay listened up to yourselves and others to not let that happen again.
