We were talking a lot about hard it is to be away from each other recently, which is how I ended up here, since I started watching videos of long distance couples because I wanted some contact with my guy. Also, so sorry you guys have been down lately! 2020 has been tough and getting hard news concerning any dreams (especially the one you moved across the country for) is difficult. Do you best to rejoice in the suffering because Scripture reminds us that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope and hope doesn't put as to shame because God's love has been poured into our heats through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us (Romans 5:33-5). Ive been through a lot in my 23 years and that set of verses always encourages my heart when times get tough! Love you guys!! Keep inspiring us all as you shine for Jesus

We are mostly sweet on camera because I would hate for her to take something I do or say the wrong way and get upset while filming because it's kinda work hahah. Would hate for her to feel like I'm making fun of her in front of a big audience... we are big fans of not putting down your significant other... with that said, we totally play with each other and have fun teasing each other etc...We make sure the other person knows we're joking or teasing etc... or if we are wrestling for example, we make sure the person is in the mood for it. So it's kind of like reading the room... if she is stressed I'm not going to walk in the room and make fun of her and put her in a headlock hahah but if we are walking on a datenight and its fun and relaxed then I may "accidentally" push her into a bush hahaha but then you kiss and make up after. I'm sure this is TMI and not helpful but yeah! here you go! hahah

Definitely recommend being friends first! But it is hard to be friends if you have other motives hahah. So it's super helpful to put in firm boundaries that protect both of y'all's hearts! We tend to be on the team of... the guy initiates and the girl responds. However, I think it is healthy for either person to have a DTR convo (Define the relationship) in the case you are confused by what is happening in a friendship or relationships.

@@ToriAndChad Yeh it's hard to find advice on anywhere! I made the mistake of sex before marriage before I fully came to Christ while my wonderful boyfriend has waited his whole life. It's been hard to see him in pain of losing a hope and desire he had. I'm not sure how I can best love him. Does that make sense?
Well in short, I think there is so much good that can happen by him learning to not only accept your past but embrace it because it makes you, who you are. And it teaches him to love unconditionally. Also virginity, while it is awesome to remain pure and wait until marriage, can become and idol for so many believers... I'm not saying Your BF is experiencing that but we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and because of that we should all have grace for others who have sinned. We are better than NO ONE! We are God's righteousness in CHRIST because of CHrist! and guess what, because you came to Christ, you now are pure and set a part! Thank you for taking the time to make another great video! I have a follow up ? that you don't have to go too deeply into, but how have y'all worked to incorporate playful banter with the kind, romantic sweetness? I've seen some couples be 100% one or the other (& y'all are heavier on the sweetness😋), but sometimes I find it hard to imagine not teasing/messing around with my future bf/hubs, but I don't wanna treat him like my brothers, but I also don't wanna be gushy all the time either, ya feel me?😂 probably just depends on personalities lol.

Love that you feel encouraged by this! I told Tori to write her Devo! That is also a great question... we are super playful with eachother! We are mostly sweet on camera because I would hate for her to take something I do or say the wrong way and get upset while filming because it's kinda work hahah. Would hate for her to feel like I'm making fun of her in front of a big audience... we are big fans of not putting down your significant other... with that said, we totally play with each other and have fun teasing each other etc...We make sure the other person knows we're joking or teasing etc... or if we are wrestling for example, we make sure the person is in the mood for it. So it's kind of like reading the room... if she is stressed I'm not going to walk in the room and make fun of her and put her in a headlock hahah but if we are walking on a datenight and its fun and relaxed then I may "accidentally" push her into a bush hahaha but then you kiss and make up after. I'm sure this is TMI and not helpful but yeah! here you go! hahah

Definitely recommend being friends first! But it is hard to be friends if you have other motives hahah. So it's super helpful to put in firm boundaries that protect both of y'all's hearts! We tend to be on the team of... the guy initiates and the girl responds. However, I think it is healthy for either person to have a DTR convo (Define the relationship) in the case you are confused by what is happening in a friendship or relationships.

It's not helpful at all hahah but the only issue is, we sometimes record for like 45 minutes on like 3 questions.. that doesn't seem like a problem but we get like 600 questions so we are just trying to keep up and reply to as many as possible! We won't always do this but it helps us be more succinct on this video lol. Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate it!

@@ToriAndChad Yeh it's hard to find advice on anywhere! I made the mistake of sex before marriage before I fully came to Christ while my wonderful boyfriend has waited his whole life. It's been hard to see him in pain of losing a hope and desire he had. I'm not sure how I can best love him. Does that make sense?

Well in short, I think there is so much good that can happen by him learning to not only accept your past but embrace it because it makes you, who you are. And it teaches him to love unconditionally. Also virginity, while it is awesome to remain pure and wait until marriage, can become and idol for so many believers... I'm not saying Your BF is experiencing that but we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and because of that we should all have grace for others who have sinned. We are better than NO ONE! We are God's righteousness in CHRIST because of CHrist! and guess what, because you came to Christ, you now are pure and set a part! Stay tuned for a video on this hopefully soon!
