Hiya... I've just a bought a second hand shock... And they told me the wrong Stoke length so I need to reduce it by putting on a travel spacer. Do I do this whole servicing the shock?
@@danielazbell2412 it’s actually my friends bike I’m trying to help him fix. We did notice the bladder would not hold above 100 psi. There is some damage to the outside part of the balloon so he will replace it along with whatever o-rings come in the rebuild kit and we’ll see what happens.
Thank you! I have a Topaz T3 and it's the same as the T2 as far as this basic service goes.
Awesome videos!

what about suspension oil?
Great video!! How often do you suggest you do this?
It’s so easy to do that I do it ever 50hrs and ever 100 I replace all the seals
i have a cuestion ...
What happens if my shock dvo topaz 2 opened in a rolled
?
and a vacuum chamber was created
Need to release the bladder pressure also?
No. It’s best to never release bladder pressure unless doing a damper service
My T3 compression adjustment lever doesn’t seem to be doing anything when I change it. Will that be easy to fix?
Depends on what’s causing it and your definition of easy. Take it a experienced suspension technician and get them to diagnose it
@@jessedvo4919 thanks. The guy I got the bike from didn’t know what he was doing. I’ll try a rebuild
This is often caused by a lack of bladder pressure, its worth checking before doing a whole service.
