Glad this helped you. I am going to dive deeper into the electrical box in a future video. Soon will be the trolling motors.

You are a fellow South Carolinian. I subbed just cause of that! But absolutely love the video of you showcasing the Bass Raider. What lakes do you fish? I am thinking about taking mines out to Muray once I get done with it but I dont know if Murray is too much lake for the boat. Also what screws did you use for your mounts?

Thank you for the sub! I primarily fish Steven’s creek, and Langley pond in Aiken and North Augusta. I did have it out on Clark’s hill lake last weekend and it performed well. Not very fast but super stable. And I have enough battery power, and redundancy to not worry about loosing battery power. As for the screws, I like a more aggressive screw like a wood screw or even a dry wall screw. Just make sure you use some silicone to seal it up.

1:08 Trolling motor is not 55 HP. It's 55 pounds of thrust.

Yes. Slip of the tongue. That boat would rock on the water if it was 55 hp

I was going to ask where you buy one of those 55 horse trolling motors.

Nice setup . Have you had any trouble with the lithium battery burning up the speed controller on the trolling motors ? I have heard of it happening .

Nice setup, but there are a few issues with it. (1) The wiring inside the boat from stern to bow is only rated for up to 40 lb. thrust trolling motor. It WILL become a PROBLEM with the amp requirements of a 55 lb. thrust. You can either run bigger wires through the boat, or move the battery to the back. (2) LiFePo4 batteries are compatible with trolling motors, but Lithium Ion batteries are not recommended to power trolling motors. (There IS a difference). (3) The digital voltage meters are useless for Lithium batteries. It will show FULL voltage until it drops to... NOTHING. You'll know it's dead when they trolling motor stops. Also, I hope you have a resettable CIRCUIT BREAKER (NOT a FUSE) close to your battery for the trolling motors. I subbed. Not meaning to be an arse, just trying to help. Don't want to see you break down, or burn up. As others have said, more close-ups would be beneficial. I like the remote switch set-up. Tight lines, and smooth waters!

@@raymondwilcox4997no worries. The gauges were installed when I had two lead acid batteries so I kept them. Good to know about the wire rating. I am not out for long periods of time in this boat, 2 hrs max, and I use the front motor for a lot of it. I am going to down size the trolling motor when it is time to replace. The 55 is way over kill (live and learn). As for circuit breakers, I have each trolling motor on breakers just after the relays for them. Appreciate the feedback and the sub. We are always learning and live feedback!!!
