In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.
the fact that Noel included the duck's side of the family in the pews was the best part lol
And one family member looked like raw duck...
Didn't even see that! lovely detail. The cooked chicken leg was interesting :P
Lmao, yeah... He's such a weirdo! XD
They were chairs, not pews.
@@UnitSe7en wow...you sure got me there...how superior your knowledge is...there sure is egg on my face now
noel included a drumstick as a duck family member. 10/10
What I've learned here is ducks are to series 4 of Taskmaster what coconuts were to series 5 of Taskmaser.
Perfect!
As eggplants were to season 9! I love the random food theme across so many seasons
Series 1: Eggs
Series 2: Potatoes
Series 3: Peas
Series 4: Ducks
Series 5: Coconuts
Series 6: Squirty Cream (Asim only)
Series 7: Air Horns (Jess only)
Series 8: Sand
@@davidha4830sand was the food theme of s12 ;)
And they didn’t include the bicycle basket task where they put as many ducks in there while moving backwards and forwards? I mean the task is uploaded already.
Russell kept one foot on the carpet at all times. therefore he didn't leave the carpet. They was robbed. Robbed, I tell you, robbed.
Right?!
Agreed, robbed.
literally what I thought. As soon as I saw him topple, my eyes snapped to his other foot still firmly on the carpet to see if they could talk their way out of it. Wish they'd tried to argue about that.
That's what I thought too. Then I realized if you read the rules that way, both teams should be disqualified for jumping, since they were not remaining on the red carpet while in mid-air.
Justice for Team Funk!!!
Whenever I see Greg at the house in the little task intro clips I always think how funny it would be if one day he had to complete some of the tasks set, in a strange reversal of roles. I wonder if he'd be good or bad at them 😂
This would be absolutely hilarious lol
Greg terrible for sure.
@@amazingabby25 why do you think he needs to get other people to do them?
Evaa Hallows lol 😂
He's the TASKMASTER, of course these tasks would be trivial to him 🤣🤣
Mr. Weasley: "What is the function of a rubber duck?"
Harry: *pulls up this video*
Mel chasing the driver @ 10:05 gave me massive mum "goodbye" vibes
That Tim, Liza and Asim group just feels like a happy Taskmaster family.
What is this quackery! For real though, these duck-themed tasks are so random yet so entertaining and they keep on giving.
I like tasks with eggs.
Which came first?
TM duck special:
Taskmaster: Scrooge McDuck
Taskmaster’s Assistant: Donald
Contestants: Count Duckula, Daffy, Edd, Howard, Wade
How does Mel so often just indoctrinates people from the outside world and they’re just like Yep of course.
Indoctrinate?
did you mean incorporate?
Well... it's Mel. I figure her and maybe Tom Hanks could do that.
@@adamreddaway2005also LeVar Burton like any of the 3 comes up to me and asks me something I'm just in no questions
The rubber duck production team must be thrilled with these tasks.
This program is in cahoots with Big Duck!
Asim, Liza and Tim have to be the most wholesome of all the teams on the show so far, they're just all constantly so nice to each other!
I wonder how Noel's partner reacted when he came home and told her "Hey honey, big news. I'm married to a duck"
he could kill his partner or reporting it missing
'Not again....'
He gained a duck but the partner quacked off! That were the feather that broke the partners back. He felt it was obducktion of the relationship. Pure duckruption!
So are we giving Morello his five points or...?
Russell and Alice fall victim to Joe’s curse of the red green
My first thought with Mel.... the rubber duckie was looking out of the courier box.... she should have said she ordered "peeking duck"! 😆
no
@@jonhohensee3258 yes
@@Mousy94 okay, you win
Petition to see Greg use all of his unique gifts and trips he’s received during prize task time!! 😂
This needs Season 13 added - if for no other reason than Judi Love thinking she had a duck on her face
And the rouge extra duck
For all of you playing Taskmaster at home with your friends and/or family, try this.
Put a rubber ducky and a clam on a table and have a task that says "Clam the duck down. Fastest wins" and just watch the madness unfold.
I will! Thank you.
Man, Mel has to be the most fun person to be around
Not true.
True.
She seems to be the pure happiness xD
I just love Noel, for points he married a toy duck
Taskmaster icons: the ducks, the cow, the bath, and the shed. Up there too is the phone booth.
the sheeeeed
Dont forget coconuts and balloons
And the caravan.
@@zainabnasiru4642 coconuts, ducks, balloons, peas and especially eggs
And Fred!
I nearly spat out my drink when Lolly said "bad"! It's just the way she says it.
Lolly was just adorable 😍
Easily the worst ever contestant, which I guess is iconic
I didn’t realize how duck heavy this season was….
I feel like the puns are just going to keep rolling in
It bothers me that Rusell Howard fell off the carpet, did not knock anymore ducks over, and didn’t profit.
Liza Tarbuck CLEARLY is off the carpet when she’s throwing stuff at the ducks!!
Scandalous. Disqualification is clearly the wrong way round.
Russell's foot is completely off the carpet. Liza's foot is still on the carpet, even though it's also touching the ground. You could say they're both on the carpet, since they both have at least one foot that's still touching it. Either neither of them is disqualified, or just Russell is.
@@Jivvi nah. Not buying that. She wasn’t on the carpet fully when she was actually throwing stuff. Either dq both, or just her.
He got hard done by.
To be fair, there’s 3 bigger people of their carpet.
I just love Noel so much! Only his weird absurd brain would think," I should marry the duck"? Legend.
Ducks and eggs are the perennial paraphernalia for tasks.
and coconuts!
I ducking love this show
I vote for Ballinamallard (N. Ireland) as the place with the most Taskmastery name in the world.
James Veitch needs to be a contestant on here!
As he's been accused of a like a dozen rapes I don't think that's likely.
there must be some underlying duck lore we're missing
Why does the thumbnail look like Greg and Joe are on the panel for QI lol
For ducks sake. This is brilliant
Up at the quack of dawn for this vid.
"You must all remain on the red carpet" is not "you may not leave the bounds of the red carpet" so one foot out and one foot on is still "on" the carpet.
Also, inching forward (like an inchworm) would have been a better strategy than hopping. Far easier to coordinate too.
These videos are like quack qoqaine for me
Imagine going about your day and then a duck falling back to earth at the speed of a meteor just absolutely murks you in the back of the head.
We had duck companions throughout Portsmouth Taskmaster series 2!
I wonder if the local delivery drivers and such in the area get nervous to go to the taskmaster house because they've heard rumours about the weird stuff they do there that they might drag you into.
Noel is so sweet, however he looks so frightening!
Welcome, your initiation into the realm of Goth begins here.
Are you a nan
Imagine getting legally married to a rubber duck (in Hawaii) to get second place on a show. Not even first.
Hugh is oddly adorable
1:43 both teams stepped off the red green. 🧐
Liza's foot is still on the red green. It's touching the ground as well, but it's still on the red green.
@@Jivvi Oh good point! But if the rules were as long as you're still partially on the carpet then Russel shouldn't have been marked as off the red carpet! I think they both actually followed the rules now that you point that out. 🤔
@@ajrowe5845 I think so. But he had afoot completely off it and she didn't, so I guess that's how they ruled it.
I'm suprised with how much they love to zoom in extra close and show the tiniest little error 🤣
Mel is honestly such a delight.
11:12 one of the duck's siblings was fried 😭
Struggling to imagine a bath that Greg would fit in.
Bath, Somerset? Even that would be a struggle.
Swimming pool
I can't ducking believe how early I am for this video.
omg your names so familiar. are you that sherlock lady

We need to talk about the ducks
The ducks?
The bathroom ducks
The bathroom duck?
Yes, the ducks in the bathroom.
Ah, those ducks
Reminds me of James Veitch more than anything else.
Exactly, finally we know, where they all ended up 😀
Mel needs to be on another series
Shes in bake off
@@themug406 ... ok... I meant another series of Taskmaster, not series on TV
@@iamdb1990 then you meant to say season
@@SolaceCafe no, everyone needs to understand we say series in England, season only applies to weather
Wow that got very duck very quickly.
Turns out I have the same humour as Noel. 😂😂😂
Put a pallet behind the line, pick each duck up one by one and carefully place them, flip the pallet.
And for good measure, include the big duck near the rope, making a comment about how I reckon most have forgotten that.
Unless Greg has a specially made long bath I don't believe him
He does.
If I was Joe I'd be like "well can I have holiday back"
I cracked up further when I searched up Noel Fielding's partner
It's disturbing he chose to act as wife instead of husband. I always thought something was off about him.
@@timo4938 it's a chance to wear a wedding dress. Who wouldn't want to wear a wedding dress???
@@timo4938 Explain why you think it's "disturbing", please. Go ahead.
Well obviously he did, he has the long hair and could actually get a wedding dress that sorta fit him at short notice. Try doing that for a duck!
@@timo4938 You'd be fun at a party! Lighten up fella, it's comedy.
when Alice says "I don't remember that bit"😂😂✨✨
We were really quack in the comment section huh?
I quacking love Taskmaster!
quacking? Really?
Next Egg-cellent tasks!
Wait did they leave out the 2021 new year's task with "why would he have a duck?"
I'm so happy Noel was the bride in this union with Mr.Duck! It would have been a travesty to his true character, if it were to be any other way.
Most surprising thing with a duck - chuck it at the windscreen of a passing car.
Hiiiit the ducky on the head 😁
Ah Morello. Poor confused dude probably still has absolutely no idea what the hell that was all about. Mel was so awkwardly excited too, proper chuffed with herself 😂
I wanted to comment about the ducks on the wall, but then I realized I would be that guy who complains about the obvious video being included and would also probably complain if the obvious duck task *wasn't* included...
I've seen RUclipsrs complaining about it before, but I never thought I was in that group until now lol
What cha talking about?
@@John-Doe-Yo I'm talking about ducks and the walls they stand on. Very serious business I'm sure you understand.
@@IronDruids the whole video is ducks lol which part are you talking about, did everyone miss something?
@@John-Doe-Yo Ah, I was talking about that video with the ducks lined up on the wall and everyone had to knock them down the fastest. It shows up pretty often on this channel. I think this is the fifth or sixth time I've watched that task? Idk, but it's been a lot.
Now the only real question is did he go to that yurt?
19:33 you could call it the D.E.N.N.I.S. system
Ah yes fresh taskmaster
I actually have an irrational fear of rubber ducks
according to the shows definition of the word "on" in previous episodes.. 'on' means attached to.
people could just have picked up the carpet.
With all the ducks, get James Veitch
All scripted btw
0:08 Greg Davies is a Templar confirmed
Why were 3.5 contestants wearing what looked like pyjamas in the last clip?
James Veitch approves.
Those intertitles are like a mix of AHS and Sherlock.
200th comment: one day Taskmaster will reach the level of using the worlds largest rubber ducky. And on that day, we will look back fondly at these moments (and Paul saying "You can't buy them that big")
This video was made for Lancaster Uni students
I know you came up with these, Tari!
why hasn't james veitch ever been on lol
season fouuuuuuur
Joe Lycett wasn't behind the line when the ducks fell.
I'm waiting for the next duck video then the goose video.
A quacking Minisode.
I would have moved the rope to just in front of the ducks.
I have a mild phobia of ducks, this will be hard to watch.
I wish I was kidding
Edit oh thank god not real ducks
were they allowed to move the rope they had to stand behind
y'all need to get james veitch on this show
edit: nevermind
Ducking love these tasks.
Its definitely strange that there's enough duck-related content on this program for a 25 minute video yeah? Its not just me?
i can't ducking believe i stole this joke from snowyalice, that's how early i am
Did Greg do to the fucking yurt?
🤣😂🤣

This is abusive to ducks. I demand you stop this audacious treatment of waterfowl.
Interesting way to repackage the series. Still prefer the REAL full episodes.
Oh great, a reminder that I hated Lou, and her being the Series 8 champ.
