This task was so chaotic, Bridget's absolute denial to one of the rules, Judi straight up physically stopping Alex, Sophie being out of breath and annoyed by the end of her attempt. I love S13's cast.
@@TheSk4dir Whenever I see people's rankings, it's usually near the bottom, so I'd consider it heavily underrated. I suspect the tongue task was responsible for this, but it definitely didn't ruin that episode, let alone the entire series.
@@dp-g5i Pretty interesting that perceptions can be so different. Most reddit posts i've seen rate it quite highly. The tongue task was... difficult to watch, in my opinion, definitely one of my least favorite tasks of all time. However the season had so many incredible moments (The "shoe who" task, the sausage cement mixer, judy love absolutely misunderstanding some tasks while other people came up with brilliant solutions, the craziness that were Ardal and Bridget).
The task was to get the MOST ducks in the basket. I love how they all immediately grabbed the giant ducks that were going to take up the most room in the basket.
The best way of stowing things is starting with the bulky items and put in the smaller items that can go into the gaps between thee larger items later.
Conversely, had they started with the smallest of the ducks many would have fallen out as Alex cycled. Notice how Bridget was able to shove some through the gaps in the wires.
Bridget finding the best workaround and then getting dq’d for flagrantly breaking the one at a time rule just really epitomizes her time on taskmaster 😂
Chris, in this task, reminds me of a labrador retriever. No thought, no strategy, no considering if there might be a better way, just keep running and you'll probably manage through raw effort.
I felt Greg's, Alex's, and the audience's reactions so much. Bridget is so nice and genuine it's just sad she had to lose like this. I love how she's on the show just to have fun.
I like clever work arounds like what Bridget and Sophie did but I also love it when huge physical exertion gets its just rewards so I was happy Chris won this one!
This is it! This is the best task ever! The pure chaos, the breking of rules, the genius tricks, the duckies and most important: the initmidation of Alex! ❤️
I've just noticed that when Bridget filmed this you can see some people (non-crew) in the background - inside and out of the shop/cafe in the background. Imagine if you're just out for a day trip and visiting this place and wondering why a man is cycling around and around a tree and a woman is going after him holding a plastic duck ....
@@Tao_Tology But that's not the task. Not all the items have to go in, and you have limited space, so you put in just the smaller items. You can fit more sand and water if you don't put in any rocks.
I don’t want to suggest Alex is biased, but I never understood why he volunteered the arrows trick to Sophie unprompted. Nor what he would have done if she had pointed one up and one down. ⬆️⬇️
The same thing happened in the sand bridge task in series 12 where he very obviously helped Morgana. It was like he desperately wanted someone to find the solution and those two happened to be the last to film the task, so he gave them a clue.
@@iliketrains3495 If I have a criticism of Taskmaster in recent series, it’s that there’s too many tasks that have a secret ‘hack’ or ‘cheat code’. I prefer the simple ones that have a variety of solutions.
He had been accused of sexual assault in the past. Whether it actually happened or not, the accusations alone make it extremely unlikely that he'd be on Taskmaster. Which is a shame as he would have been good on it.

Def one of the best casts ever

Exactly what I was thinkiung. Although I did think they were very dumb for doing that.

A moment only topped by her cup snake task.
"I don't think this [shed full of cups] has anything to do with the task."
Chris, in this task, reminds me of a labrador retriever. No thought, no strategy, no considering if there might be a better way, just keep running and you'll probably manage through raw effort.
It's easy to picture this whole line-up as dogs.
Lol I fucking love Judi straight up committing grand theft auto on Alex’s bike
Greg: "I found 'I do everything for him' to be genuinely touching".
Also Greg 5 seconds later: "this fool" and "this tosspot".
Bridget is still one of my all time favorite contestants. I mean, seriously, how could you only hold 1 duck at a time?
All information are on the task.
Bridget doing so well, then just admitting defeat. Love it
I felt Greg's, Alex's, and the audience's reactions so much. Bridget is so nice and genuine it's just sad she had to lose like this. I love how she's on the show just to have fun.
I may be biased because I started with 13, but they're still my favorite cast. Every single one of them brought a different sort of chaos to the table
1 broke his bike, 1 stole the basket, 1 made him circle around like crazy
were these tasks lol
There are so many Taskmaster contestants I've loved for how hilarious they make the show, but Judi and Bridget are among the best.
This is one of my fav tasks. Judi Love alone makes this gold. But they all were great.
I like clever work arounds like what Bridget and Sophie did but I also love it when huge physical exertion gets its just rewards so I was happy Chris won this one!
Making an infinite loop with the arrows was insanely clever.
I love Taskmaster. I'm on my 3rd viewing of the series until series 17 starts.
This is one of my all-time favorite tasks.
I continue to be astonished by how much Bridget just seems to never understand the rules to such an extent that it borders on alien
Lmao, Judy just turned into a child fighting over a trike
One of the funniest tasks ever imo

adore this cast fr
I loved the loopholes in this one.
Judi's approach on the duck/basket task always makes me cry with laughter.
This is my favorite show! Thank you Alex
If the seat on bike was correct the pain would be less
I wonder how many words there were? Maybe one per size of duck plus some other system of finding them?
few enough words that Alex seemed to have them committed to memory I guess
I think they all reported injuries during this task. that's Dedication.
Anything serious?
@@anthtan I think it's just overexertion/strain, nothing serious.
I was expecting at the end that they show Judi lifting the basket full of ducks at the 'one at a time' compilation xD

Chris got it right That the words to stop alex bike are on the ducks.
Happy Rubber Duck Day, January 13th.
I think all of them put in the largest ducks first. WHY?!?
Don't you regularly put the biggest thing in the empty space & work your way down to the smallest as they can sit on the top/fall into gaps easier?
@@glenrobinson10when working with limited space I typically avoid putting big things in the cart at all
Fill a container with rocks, marbles, sand and water.
You put in the rocks, then the marbles fit in the gaps, then the sand, then the water.
@@Tao_Tology But that's not the task. Not all the items have to go in, and you have limited space, so you put in just the smaller items. You can fit more sand and water if you don't put in any rocks.

This is series 13… by now anyone not thinking of how to mess with the task is not paying attention to the show
Incredible.
Lets not firget when alice levine gave alex his personal identification number. That was pretty chaotic and creepy
If the task is to get as many ducks in the basket as possible, why on earth did they all start with the largest ducks first? That makes no sense.

Because it's British comedy TV nobody cares who wins the arbitrary points
why the f are everyone putting bigger ones first?
Didn't you post the full task here before, certainly it's been available in the individual segments

James Veitch would be proud, and an excellent addition for season 18.
