As it has LED lights at the front, you don’t need front fog lights as LED lights are penetrative anyway. The only reason why most cars still have rear fog lights is because it’s mandated by law. But technically, if you have rear LED light, you don’t really need them either.
49 mpg is good. Yet to know the reliability of its hybrid drivetrain. For me its a choice between a 2 yr used CHR hybrid, lexus UX or this, given the price about the same.
Does it have native navigation? How is the car for travelling long distances with a family of 4? I am 185cm tall (6ft1) and I had plenty of space when sitting in the back. I believe 3 6footers can sit comfortably in the rear seats. Would you agree? I am seriously thinking of purchasing this car. It is great value and the interior is quite luxurious.
@@gerrydoorstop I had two hrvs and it didn’t put brake lights on… put a speed limiter on a Renault at 70 approach a 50 lower your speed limiter to 50 it brakes the car or van the same way.. no brake lights
What did you think about the car’s manual, I found the iSmart one, and one online, but both were very poor. Also I don’t rate the sound system, as far as I can see the car doesn’t have a graphic equaliser, so you can’t even try to improve it.
Yeah that's some really silly complaints. The manual...which 90% of people don't read and the audio...car drivers ain't buying a car for audiophile level audio stop being daft
with all the effort and probably technoligy wise more advanced than outgoing model is sadly at rear end and side veiw which , really looks a design drawn up from pre 2018 yawn Zzz. the tec or info / entertainment will be laggy at these prices compared to slightly dearer brands lease or rent will dominate sales this as a cool family budget compact suv
The OLD ZS is 3 star but the most recent car tested bing the ZS EV is 5 star. considering the amount of extra saftey equipment and dev time when the new results come in it's going to be fairly high on the rankings for sure...
I think the newer models from MG are a lot better in terms of safety compared to a few years ago. I'm waiting for the NCAP tests of the new MG3 Hybrid+, HS/HS PHEV and this new ZS Hybrid+ to see if MG had really stepped up their game in terms of safety.

It's hard to find any serious drawbacks at this price. Amazing value for what it offers. All hybrid mid-trims of competitors are 27k+.

Do the brake lights come on if you take your foot off the accelerator and the re gen kicks in?

yes definatley, as the drone is under 250grams, but we are also not in a city we are in the country

What kind of engine is it and is it worth anything ? I would be nervous about the engine which is unknown and is it lasting the car’s lifetime !
