I currently have a 2023 HS Trophy. I can honestly say it is THE WORST car I have ever owned! Yes, it looks good but the constant faults even though there appear to be no issues, then random lack of power, failing to start, failing to go in gear (I have an auto), boot failing to open, absolutely no lighting in the rear (I have to use my mobile phone torch at night to strap my grandchildren in or find items in the rear of the vehicle), CarPlay works when it wishes, no locking wheel nuts on alloy wheels and if you are a bigger person the seatbelts are not suitable as they are super tight, (never had this issue in a car before). I could go on and on and I can also confirm the service staff all agree that the car is awful, cheap and not fit for purpose! I have never been at a main dealership waiting for a service and had other customers moaning about the same car I unfortunately own! Everyone had issues! My car is being returned and I am going back to Mercedes, yes they’re more expensive but the standard is exemplary and the general experience is another level!

I wonder... is the hybrid engine jerky and CVT ? I was about to buy a new FORD Kuga but Im not a big fan od the cvt gearbox...

I had a peugeot 3008 2017 gt blue hdmi.... I loved that car.... but had to sell due to illness... trying to save for another one.. but this.. This is awsome.. I would adore it , probably even sleep in it ... I would travel the country promoting it... but that price is way way out of my league... so lottery is my only way ... anyway this car is gorgeous and I would have one in an instant if I could 😢.. but I can dream anyway

I picked mine up in September and apart from a safety recall ( the recall was in other cars but they recalled all them back rather being safe than sorry it took a few hours) but I love this car even my wife likes it and she not into any of the cars I pick.

The big downside of this car is its towing ability 3500LB - 1600KG is a big minus

Regardless of the engine power, the maximum speed is still just over 100mph, and the three speed automatic gearbox is just daft. I'm getting a Captur instead, which is also more economical.

That “engine noise” definitely sounds artificial for a diesel under acceleration … but then again I had to start/move one of these the other day, and on start-up, it went into an increased-rev engine clean process that took about 5min… and it didn’t at all sound like a diesel!🤷‍♂️ The build quality was pretty good too. The interior quality still isn’t as good as Toyota.

The seats and steering wheel are not leather...also in my opinion, it should of been a 2.0 not 1.5...I feel the car out weights the small motor

brilliant value out the box, seen trophy version offered at 25 k , tings you will have to except is o-60 kinda sluggish , mpg around town and no SIGN OF A ELECTRIC SUNROOF , even as a add on option , ps only engine and axle lives through till end of warranty ( which obviously depends on the miles clocked up ) There are some items that mg dont warrantee gone 6 mths from new/1st registration

3:11 - This is as close to answering my question as I’ve seen in any video. But unfortunately, I’m still not totally clear. I was of the understanding that when the motor turned into a generator it’s because your rolling wheels are powering the motor. So why is it that if you apply more breaking force, which stops the rotation of your wheels sooner, that somehow generates battery? In short, I thought more wheel rotation meant more battery, charging, yet harder breaking, which stops the wheel rotation sooner, also charges the battery more? How?!

49 mpg is good. Yet to know the reliability of its hybrid drivetrain. For me its a choice between a 2 yr used CHR hybrid, lexus UX or this, given the price about the same.

I absolutely hate this the interior is starting to look cheap like other cars. Why do people insist on making things worse when there’s nothing wrong with it. What’s this big stupid screen. My dashboard felt personal, give the passenger their own screen, bring back the buttons you finally got them right and now you get rid of them. Seven keys were perfect I put batwing letters on it. This big stupid E on the back smh 🤦🏽‍♂️ the shape of the front, doesn’t look right. This big stupid screen blocking up the vision. You better have the damn panorama roof. The last one was designed for a president. This one looks rushed and stupid. Dead this I’m keeping my old one 😡🤬
